Well I'm a th9, so i've got maxed barch, but barcher can be really efficient starting from lvl 5.

Lvl 4 barch is do-able, but you'll be frustrated often at how weak they are.

Been barching w/ lvl 3 troops at TH7 between 1000-1200 trophies, 150k+ gold per run is standard.
The efficiency and effectiveness of this farming method is pretty undeniable.

So close to being maxed out TH6, everything I have is maxed except for my mines/collectors, and my spell factory. I only need 239 more gems for my next builders hut. Hnnnnnng

You want to hit centralised mortar and wiz tower bases. Always lure. Try to hit bases with 36 buildings outside... But the more the better if you can't find that. Use lightning spells to destroy buildings that are nearly dead.

BRB spend 60k (103 nexts) in gold to raid 80k. Too many "nexts" to try to find an ideal base with collectors full, mortors and wiz towers tucked in the middle etc.


My goal is to find gold, and 20K for 20 min worth of work isn't cutting it.


Going back to my Alpha 16 giants, 16 wizards and 4 healer army - something that actually produces results.

If it takes you that long to find good pump raids, then it's not your troops fault lol. Change your trophy range

Yeah thats why I love archers...Cheap fast and effective. Net profit overall post raid is good.

you dont have to limit yourself to collector/outside sniping.
I add ~10 hogs + occasional spell or hero support and i take on bases with even deeply hidden loot. Traps screw me 25% of the time but still very profitable.
(+5-6 minions specialy to take out BK once lured away. luring away CC/bk is very important no matter what)
I barcher with my TH9 account and lvl5 troops around 1800 trophies. find that it is easier to get gold then elix.

i seriously just bum-rush the enemy.
1st take out support if possible and then drop everything on 2 sides.
since defenses shoot at barbs/archers the limited hogs are effective.
+ building hogs speeds up army build completion since you use all barracks + i use up all 220 troops each raid.

i rarely attack th9s b/c of the xbows shred the barbs and archers, but not hard to find th8s

earlier post says 1750 is good range for barch raiding. That's where I'm at.

Had some other straight Barch but are not in my attack log. Same result though.

well if that army comp is working keep using it. I wouldn't be able to handle the wait times though, pretty expensive too

Very expensive.... that's why I was trying to get the barch attack to work. Can't seem to dial it in though

just a random question for you guys that drop to 200 trophies to raid...do you guys war at all? seems like youd always be left out of the war if you did that. sounds like too much work for me anyways.

This is actually really interesting, what's your barrack que? Do you have to boost or are you able to raid every 17-20 minutes normally? Also, no wbs?

Still think barch is superior for farming gold/elixir, but this may work for DE farming for town hall 7-8's.

After hearing how crystal is the GOAT for getting loot I've spent today climbing trophies. Went from 1295-1504. Loot is still kind of mediocre here so gotta keep climbing.

What's your army composition like for climbing trophies and what's your troop levels? I'm a fresh TH8, trying to climb trophies as well. At 1200 right now trying to do the barb-arch combo.

You can TH snipe up to 2000 easily.

60 barb/10 bomber, 120 archers. If I let the army grow to almost 100 archers I'll swipe for high loot pump raids, but while I'm waiting for troops to finish I've been looking for bases with the TH outside of the base. Probably got half of my trophies that way lol. Also keep 3 lightening on deck for big DE bases, made 3 k between pumps and lightening spell steals.

How much DE do you look for and do you drop all 3 lightning spells on it? I have lvl 4 lightning spells.

Should I drop all 3 if it's 500+ DE? Or look for 1k+? Trying to farm for my DE as well.

I drop them if it's 1k + . Now that I'm sitting at 1600 I keep seeing ones with 3k+ so I might hold out for that.
Also, if they have like 2k or something and their DE pumps are easy to get too I'll always go after them. I've had a lot of success with that strategy

Been starting to play this game a lot lately and i am wondering if you brahs could give feedback if this is a decent base set up. Or if there are better ones or just give some general advice to make it better. Town lvl is 6 btw. Currently trying to max defense before lvling town center to 7. Trying to make it.

Spread your buildings out some. You want a layer of protection that prevents people from placing their attackers right at your walls.

When you move buildings, you will see white lines showing where attackers can be placed. Avoid those being right next to walls.
