Are clan wars profitable?

Just won my first war - the clan I joined got co-ordinated and crushed our opponent. We're still definitely casual, but it was fun working together. I almost went broke donating lvl 2 Drags to our low level players, but that war win bonus at the end more than covered it. Should we be "farming" wars?

Depends on how high you attack and your army comp. If you don't attack high and use a cheap army then you'll most likely make a profit. I use mass drag + 3 rage or lightening so I always make a loss.

I usually just look at the gold point of view. As a clan leader with a lot of real life friends in clan, i also spend a lot of elixir to make everyone happy. It's all for fun for me. I dint get srs when it comes to a war. Yes it is fun but I like having that good connection with my buddies and bragging rights . War bonus loot is nice regardless , unless u attack low level in clan and don't get much

Yeah I spent a lot of elixir but the gold was great, even got 600 or 700 DE.

finally collected enough de to level up aq to 15.

7 day upgrade. (lvl 14 to 15)

need to farm 130k de before she turns level 15.

the worst part about upgrading heros is not being able to use them when they're upgrading.

Tbh no it's not worth it at all, would gain so much more loot barching for 30 minutes than I do in war. It's just something fun to do to kill the monotony.

Misc II is already on 43 wins though and face clans with 80% town hall 10s and guys in high level trophy ranges...

Clan wars is a lot harder now that the majority of Misc II is TH10's. When you have guys in your clan with maxed out bases and heroes, you don't get matched up with bush league clans. Not the easy blowouts we used to have.

But you'll find that out for yourself.
