i'm STRESSING OUT guys, bought an omega seamaster about a week ago from an authorized dealer, wore it yesterday (about 3rd time wearing it) and as im just walking down the street the bracelet link disconnects or something and the watch falls on the pavement. there's slight cosmetic damage on the bezel, the area where the bracelet connects to the watch looks kinda loose and obviously the bracelet is disconnected at one of the links.

The store i bought it from is closed for NYE and will open wednesday, obviously they will reconnect the bracelet, but i'm worried about the cosmetic damage done to the watch , the warranty doesn't cover that, but it happened because of a fault in the product and was not my fault, im thinking maybe when the store resized it when i bought it they didn't assemble it correctly (although it seems that it would be really hard to fuk up something that simple).

anyone had experience with something like this?

This seems like a VERY specific situation, how are we supposed to help you? Just go tell them what happened this isn't an Omega service thread.

Just use your brain for a sec. You buy that, and hit it once, you're screwed. Look at the 2nd and 3rd pics, looks cheap! Don't get all butthurt over my comment, I wasn't referring to all Zenith, only their uber high end line, like the one I noted. Sure, you can appreciate the smooth movement, and styling, but it's nothing THAT special, honestly (IMO ofc)

I don't get butthurt. That's an extremely limited edition Zenith, it doesn't reflect the brand at all. Any El Primero reflects the brand much better.

This entire line is discontinued and came from a few years ago, aka the "dark days" of zenith under their last terrible CEO. They now make some extremely nice pieces, an el primero striking 10th (think that's the name) is one of my top 10 grail watches

I've seen some very nice zenith.timepieces, with.clean, classy dials for like 8k- those are beauties. The one I noted, however, better be the control for day and night at that price
