Thing is, I love watches, I really do. But I'm always on the look out for that 'next piece'. I'm really happy with my SMP & my Van der Klaauw, and I'm getting a YG Reverso in two or three years, but even now I'm already checking for something to buy in the mean time you know? Maybe a Rollie DayDate, or a Daytona.

Quick phone picture, I'm loving this one already. So comfortable compared to my Pam I forget I'm even wearing it.
I like fast cars, nice watches, sharp knives, and good smells.

What do you guys think about the brand CYMA? Apparently they been around for awhile since 1862 but its not so well known in NA. I see them everywhere on posters/billboards when I went traveling to Asia.

Just wanted to share with my fellow watch crew brehs my dress watch. Decent size and looks at home in both suits and casual, due to it's thickness and size. Awesome triple calendar function and substantial weight.

After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. damn i came back into this thread at a good time (all this talk of germans)
A GO PanoLunar or PanoReserve is definitely my grail dress watch...
So this came in the mail today took about a week only to come from Glashutte!
First impressions - unbelievable packaging. really gives you the full experience. They included so much to really make it feel like a REAL luxury watch. so many booklets, even these little postcards, cleaning cloths, catalog with a background on each of the watches, hand signed cards etc. SO impressed and ecstatic about my first german, first hand wound, and first high class watch.
iPhone pics sorry :/
^^4 guys in my current rotation

Does anybody know which watch this is? My jaw dropped to the floor, that's how much I like it:
It looks like a Breguet maybe?

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, and die gallantly. Love the Nomos, mate!
Stunning.
I would love to be able to see one in the flesh.
Congrats.
How do you feel about the smaller size?
-
05-09-2013, 08:11 PM #7375
Well, i love it and it doesn't bother me but I can see some as thinking it's too small. It's 35mm, but as you already know, it appears bigger because of lack of bezel. I think it's perfect for a dress watch. I think my wrist falls between 7 1/8 and 7 1/4 for reference in that pic.
I'm not a huge fan on massive watches anyway unless they're PAMs. 39-42 for a diver is maximum for me. My Hamilton at 40 is the perfect casual size IMOSnatch: 122

Oh for sure, 38-40 is my sweet spot. I think it's unfortunate, so many watches are huge. Like, IWC's at 44mm and 12+ thick.
But, you're right. The lack of bezel really makes that pop out more on the wrist.

Misc, aware me on IWC Aquatimer Chrono. Is the movement just high ETA or inhouse? I'm debating between that and Speedy
