Never been a big fan of the 5 series, well besides the M5. I bet its a blast to drive though.
really man, comparing bikes to cars is like comparing trucks to cars....you NEVER do that. Crotch rockets are a totally different animal then a vehicle with 4 wheels and a shell.

Lol at you retards posting things he's too old to buy now.
A distinguished doctor with 3 kids is not going around driving on a reckless bike or a fuking Supra
its the next best thing from an M5, and you can't beat the service you get with BMW underwarranty.
Lol at jag, worst reliability in history.
Next car op, go for a 7 or an S Class.ΩΩPresident of the Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey Royal Admiration Guild©©

Lots of posts, I'll try and consolidate most of the questions. The reason I didn't get the M5 is that the ones I have seen available were going for 110-125k and in my region it wouldn't be feasible in the winter. My 911 Turbo would sit in the garage for almost 5 months every year along with my other toy cars, and it made sense to buy something I could drive year round. I cross shopped the Audi S6 and S4 (I liked it but was too small), BMW 550xi, Mercedes E550 with AWD, and the Porsche Panamera 4S (I liked this car the most but it has 2 bucket seats in the back and I need a bench for 3), Lexus GS (nice but no upscale engine killed it). There really isn't a whole lot of choices in this segment, and the price can add up very quickly. The deal on the 550 was great and I really like the car, so it made sense. My pics do not do it justice, but with the M Sport package I think it looks very nice in person and with the Dinan flash it really competes well on paper with the Audi S6. The S6 similarly equipped would have pushed 80 grand, and the only thing I really liked better about it was the availability of a dual clutch transmission, but the auto in the BMW is pretty darn good. I have owned tons of manuals, and at this point I wouldn't want to row the gears in a 4700 lb sedan (although the option is available). The other nice thing about the BMW is free maintenance for 4 years, which saves another several thousand dollars over the Audi.

Awesome car! BUT you need this front end and slightly larger rims, (no chrome or anything crazy, classy rims that dont really look aftermarket) and it will look a illion times better, something with the narrow front end and small rims makes it look a lil weird, good buy so jelly
