Tips:
Target email addresses from your opt-ins (custom audiences)
Target the pages of your competitors
Create a persona of your customer? Do they checkout online? Use the demographic data in GA to find the demos which convert well for you.
Does your product pair well with another product? (ie. Buy a boat gonna need a boat trailer). Target pages for those products as well.

high ctr = lower cpc
1) make sure you use power editor (has a lot more options aand targeting)
2) do custom audience targeting (fb sends fake clicks and likes if you target via interests. so do custom audience targetting to target real ppl)
3) to do this get a fb fan page UID scraper (check blackhat forums)
4) make sure you're targetting NEWSFEED only (on default it is set to both right hand & newsfeed. newsfeed only = much higher ctr and cheaper clicks)
5) make sure you're targetting "desktop" only (on default it is set to target both desktop computers and mobile. unless you're optimized for mobile i advise desktop only or you're wasting money)
this will increase ctr and therefore bring your CPC down. i've had 0.02 clicks doing this with very high ctr.
i usually bid high end of the suggested CPC to get traffic rolling in. from there it naturally drops as your ctr goes up. then you can play with it by dropping it by a couple cents and see if you still get traffic.

I've set up a Ltd company with Companies House, I've designed my website, I've hired someone to search on various criteria to find sales leads, and I've made some sales calls
This has resulted in a definite web design sale already, and 3 more in the pipeline
Just waiting for my business account application to be accepted to launch the site, and start making the monies!

Curious how long it took you brahs to start seeing organic traffic from the search engines start pouring in.
Right now my site is 6 weeks old but I'm posting a couple of solid posts each week and have gotten maybe 10-15 decent backlinks in my niche (like PR3, PR4, PR5). About 100 uniques a day but I'm still getting no search traffic at this point.
My friend said it usually takes about 3-6 months?Gary Johnson

My buddy said after about 3-6 months if you keep writing solid articles consistently you'll get anywhere from 10-100 hits from the search engine per day.
Wondering if this is what most other brahs experience.
How long have your sites been up? 1 per day is pretty bad, mine gets about that, I just want to know when to expect like 50 hits per day kinda thing you know.Gary Johnson

Really depends on the niche, if you're writing about "how to trade forex while sitting on toilet" It may takes years to get 50 visitors per day.
Check out nichepursuits.com case study where Perrin is making $1k per month with a shaving site that is only 3 months old. That will give you some good insight.

I'm not exactly sure by what you mean here.10-100 hits per day for the website? or for each article? My articles start getting 1 hit per day at about two weeks after creation but some articles are getting 5 hits per day after only a month. I think this will continue to rise to maybe around 10 hits per day per article. Right now I get 25 hits day from organic seo
So if you had 100 articles on you site getting 10 hits per day you could expect 1,000 hits per day or close to 30k each month which isn't really bad IMO. but like you friend said 3-6 months down the road depending on how much content your posting.
do the pr5 sites linking to you have read counts on their posts? I ask because I notice that even huge websites in your niche for example zerohedge have some articles with 30k hits and some with 2k hits. And despite the massive amounts of posting they have put out its still hard to accidentally run into them through a search IMOLast edited by saberu315; 02-23-2014 at 12:47 PM.
