    Cardio and bodyweight exercises only

Is it necessary to lift weights? I'm 245, 6'4, trying to get down to 190 or so.. as long as I cut enough calories and do my cardio do I really need to lift weights?

Yea.. You do.. It helps build muscle which hps your metabolism... Which burns more calories, which helps control weight.. With the exception of hiit the calorie burning from cardio is gone when you're done
