Salon.com journalist Glenn Greenwald calls Barofsky "“easily one of the most impressive and courageous political officials in Washington.” Barofsky maintains to this day that, contrary to popular misconceptions, the banks have not paid back their bail-out money, nor have any intention of doing so.

May 2010: Iceland begins jailing and suing bankers for negligence and malfeasance which endangers the economy, rather than bailing them out. Icelandic economy now outperforming EU. Arrests continue into 2011.

October 25, 2012: Blogger Sherrie Questioning All reports that CNBC has posted a controversial press release from the Spire Law Group announcing in headline "Major Banks, Governmental Officials and Their Comrade Capitalists Targets of Spire Law Group, LLP's Racketeering and Money Laundering Lawsuit Seeking Return of $43 Trillion to the United States Treasury." The action accuses the "banksters" of racketeering, stealing from the American people, and money laundering. Lawsuit names Obama administration officials such as Attorney General Eric Holder, the brother in law of Defendant California Attorney General Kamala Harris, Jon Corzine (former New Jersey Governor), former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geitner, and Senior White House Advisor Valerie Jarrett, Anita Dunn (a former "communications director" for the Obama Administration), Robert Bauer (husband of Anita Dunn and Chief Legal Counsel for the Obama Re-election Campaign.)

October 26, 2012: The New York Times reports that the wife of Kevin Krim, Senior VP for Digital Communications, in charge of CNBC online content, find two of her three children murdered in the bathroom, along with the nanny who is unconscious with a slash wound to her throat. The nanny, Yoselyn Ortega, 50, is charged with killing the children and then trying to kill herself. She survives, but cannot speak due to her wound.

The NY Times report begins:

A mother returned home to her luxury Upper West Side apartment on Thursday evening to find two of her children, a 2-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl, fatally stabbed in a bathtub by the family’s nanny, the authorities said. The nanny herself lay on the floor, near a bloody knife, with an apparently self-inflicted slash to her own throat.

October 27, 2012: CNN runs the story of the child murders with key details changed by police. The story is now that the nanny began stabbing herself upon discovery by the mother.

CNN now reports:

New York (CNN) -- The New York nanny suspected in the killings of two children in her care began knifing herself when their mother entered the bathroom and saw the bodies in the bathtub, police said Friday.

"We believe now that the nanny began to stab herself as the woman entered the room," Police Commissioner Ray Kelly told reporters in a revised account of Thursday's events.

"We initially thought that had already been done but now information is coming out that she did it as the mother entered the bathroom."

There is speculation that the mother would be subject to blackmail in order to spare the life of her remaining child. Self-inflicted throat-slashing is among the rarest of all types of suicide methods among women.

If you were actually interested in finding out the answer to this, instead of pretending to that you don't buy this conspiracy story hook, line and sinker, you could Google it.

For example, literally the first result I found is about German medicos concluding that one can tell the difference between suicidal and homicidal fatal neck wounds with 84% accuracy. So it happens often enough to be studied and conclusions drawn by pathologists.

What seems stranger is why someone who didn't murder the children and inflict knife wounds on themself would start stabbing themselves the moment a potential rescuer arrives.

It's called debt. You can make $20,000 a year (your "GDP") and still run up $200,000 in debt, or more. That's what Barofsky was saying when he projected future generations saddled with a possible $23 trillion from the bail-outs. So you are a stupid punk. Don't get on a high horse about anyone promoting conspiracy theories, because it makes you look like even an more stupid punk. Asking questions is always good, son. Never forget. That is different from promoting conspiracy theories. The way you get to the bottom of any horrible crime is asking questions.

- why did CNBC Digital take down the post?

- why did the police change the story of the nanny? First the mother says she finds her unconscious on the floor, then it is revised to she saw her stabbing herself in the neck. Isn't that quite a drastic revision?

- could this by a clumsy lashing out by a cabal desperate to put a lid on people's growing awareness of their crimes? It's just a question now. Don't be afeard. You don't need to say "Baah! Conspiracy theory!"

PRNewswire release is reported by CNBC and Wall Street Journal. Commenter does not understand the difference between a news organization and press release service, and what they do. When a release appears on WSJ it has been verified and researched.

The only "conspiracy" is the conspiracy to condition you to equate asking questions with "a conspiracy." So far it's working. No one pays but you.

Forensically it is extremely rare for a woman. But you are ignoring the bigger questions. Why did the web posting come down the same day? Why did the cops change the story? Possible: No one is going to believe it was the nanny if she was found unconscious on the floor with her throat cut. That story is a non-starter.

It's as if you went gambling in Vegas with depositors' money, was up a thousand times what you walked in with, then lost it all. But the bail-out you want is for the amount you had when you were up, not what you walked in with. Since society doesn't have that much you have them borrow it or you print it yourself, either putting future generations in hock for your bail-out or debasing the currency. When the system collapses you don't care. You have transferred your assets offshore and have made arrangements for your getaway.

The original post on the CBNC website was taken down within hours of the murder, no explanation. The Wall Street Journal put it up and continues to run it. First the cops says the nanny was unconscious on the floor, then the story changes to the mother walked in on her stabbing herself in the throat. Quite a change in circumstance. If she was found dead on the floor, who would ever believe she wasn't murdered? Stabbed herself, right. So now the mother says she saw her stabbing herself.

"Ortega stabbed herself with such force that she fractured a vertebra in her neck." This is simply not believable. She was murdered too.

Mother has one child remaining, she will say anything they want to protect it. She knows they are ruthless and will do anything.

99% of posters on this site are too oblivious to recognize this truth. The last 2 sentences (bolded) destroys any bs propaganda like "but how can the elite survive if they're destroying the world economy". It's because they bought up the physical assets, infrastructure for pennies on the dollar, they hold the real wealth, and anything they still need made for them will be made by SLAVES, whether in China, or elsewhere. The weaker the economy is, the easier it is to control people, which is exactly what they want.
