Don't neglect things like incline bb, incline db press, and incline flyes
A lot of dudes just flat bb bench, week after week, then wonder why no chest
pec-deck machine works too until you get your form squared away

The width comes from general chest mass building. Benching and dips and DB flies. The flatness aspect is a matter of having low body fat, which reduces the size of the fat deposits on the lower pec and evens out the pec shape overall. So basically you need to bulk up the chest big time and lose some fat in the end as well.

Consistency of working out the chest in a flat position, incline position, and decline position will help you get the width for your chest. It's not going to happen if you work it out for a week and expect to see your chest widen up.
Focus on hitting your chest hard with incline and decline or incline and flat. Mix up machines, Dumbbells, and barbell. Soon enough, you'll see progress and that chest will widen up the way you want it.

Lower your BF% and work the chest from multiple angles. This means don't just stick to flat bench all the time. Do incline/decline bench, flyes and dips. That is the exact way that I got a flat chest. Although I can not emphasize cardio and proper nutrition enough; the 23 hours outside of the gym needs to be focused on a clean diet, rest and cardio.
