I want to first give a big thanks to Kon_Rock for giving me the opportunity to log Magnum Opus. I was a fan of Opus when I got three samples before so i'm pretty excited to log a full tub.
I want to let every one know that i'm not going to BS this log and give praise where praise isn't due. If any of you have seen my logs you'll know i'm honest about my thoughts on the product.
This product couldn't come in time cause i'm in much need of a stimulant break. I've used several preworkouts one after another without taking a break. I still got the effects though associated with a stimulant based preworkout. With that said i'm going to be going stim free this entire log. This means no coffee, energy drinks, tea etc. I want to be able to fully give this log 100% and this is part of it.
My training protocol i'm following is Madcow's 5x5. It's a strength based program and i'll be lifting three days a week.
Nutrition wise i'm just eating like a beast and not worrying about some 6 pack. If i'm training for strength i'm eating for it as well.
I think I got the important stuff out the way.
I was pretty excited when I got home and saw a package at my front door step. I was even more floored when I saw the contents of the package. Kon again thanks a lot bro.
So as you can see I got a sh!t ton of samples of Magnum Serum, a full size bottle of A bomb and the new flavored Magnum. On top of that I got the awesome Magnum Opus shirt. Talk about a hook up
Tomorrow will be my first day with Opus. It's going to be an early AM workout that'll consist of Squat, Bench, Row. I know it's going to take some time to get accustomed to not having a stimulant based workout but I think Opus will deliver (I hope). I'll also stack Serum and A-Bomb along the way as well. Until tomorrow you guys take care and thanks for lurking and following.

Nice man. You really did get the hookup, wow.
You're really putting Opus to the test early by benching, squatting, and rowing all on the 1st day . That's a heavy workload right there, even without accessory exercises. Interested to see how things go lifting with Opus. I'm using it now, but only for cardio on non-lifting days or the occasional two-a-day sessions with a lift and cardio separately. Just not ready for that long-overdue stim break yet .

What's up Mike. I'm definitely not holding back I'm running Madcow's 5x5 so that's all I do during my workouts, compound lifts are where it's at.
That's the plan. Tomorrow will just be Opus cause I want to see how it performs on it's own.My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

What's up guys. I jut got back from the gym a little bit ago and i'm drinking on dat dere chocolate milk
I woke up this morning at 5am and got ready for my morning workout. I always train fasted on Monday's.
The directions on Opus say if you're over 130lbs to take 2 scoops, so that's what I went ahead and did in my cool Magnum cup
One thing I liked right away with Opus was the scooper's handle.
So I mixed two scoops in 12 oz of water with just spoon. The first thing that started to happen was tons of foam was forming. I'm not surprised cause if you look at the ingredients on Opus you would understand why.
I would stir for a couple seconds, wait a couple seconds and continue stirring. Eventually the foam disappeared but there was still some at the top.
There was no issue though with any particles not being mixed which is a plus.
The flavor is Blue Yasberry and it definitely had a nice taste of berry flavor. It also had this slight carbonated bite to it which I liked. Overall the flavor was great and those that liked their preworkout to taste good will enjoy this one.
Coming from using stimulants in my preworkout to one that is stimulant free is a big change. I know going into this that i'm not going to "feel" this preworkout like I would with a preworkout that contains stims. With that said day one with Opus felt good. I know it's to early to really say this preworkout delivered but I did feel a bit up lifted through out my workout.
I took Opus on an empty stomach and headed to the gym around 5:30am. By the time I got to the gym I was awake and during my dynamic I was definitely ready to go lift. I did get those strong BA tingles and that's no surprise seeing as I took 2 scoops. This wasn't much of an issue for me.
I didn't get hit with any crazy energy or focus but I was expecting this. I did have a sort of normal energetic feeling. It's kind of hard to explain but I wasn't as tired as I thought I would be for waking up that early and having to do 3 compound lifts on an empty stomach. I had enough endurance to get me through my workout and felt great towards the end of it.
It's day 1 with Opus so it's hard to gauge it so far. I'm hoping with more and more workouts with it I can give it a fair assessment.
Lets get to my workout and some videos of my top set with my squat and bench.

Squat 5x5

185x5
Bench 185x5
Pendlay Row

Overall it was a good workout and I felt strong during my lifts. Tomorrow is my rest day and i'll be back in the gym on Wednesday. Until then, STAY STRONG
I leave you with some music that was blasting in my ear during my workout.

AWESOME 1st DAY!!!!
Squats look really good, great depth.
Opus has effervescent in it, that's gives its carbonation feel - also be careful if you put it in a closed container, it would build pressure.Nutrabio Lead Rep

Yeah I made the mistake of putting it in a shaker cup and shaking. Blew the lid clean off. Luckily didn't waste too much.

I hope all you guys had a good Halloween last night. I know I did. I killed a large pizza post work out haha. I'm feeling fat as fuark this morning but whatever lmao.
The goal was to get 3,580 calories in, yea mission accomplished seeing as I went past that lmao.
So I got home from work yesterday and had my two scoops of Opus. Man I love the taste of two scoops in 16 oz water. The berry and carbonation is great with every drink. I got those BA tingles as well that I don't mind and felt them through out my entire workout.
Yesterday I noticed I had some pretty good endurance through out my workout. I felt strong and really in tuned with my lifts. It was a natural energetic feeling I had going. Day 2 was definitely a build off day 1 with Opus. Lets get to the workout and a video

How do you like using the slight platform on DLs to have the bar off the ground a little? Been meaning to try that to see if it makes a difference (maybe I will give it a try this weekend).
