    Update

So my last recorded weight as of Saturday morning was 194.2lbs, in total I am down 13lbs since starting prep, not too bad! I am enjoying the experience for sure and it has been quite the ride already.

Some things I am noticing is me and my girlfriend have been getting in more and more fights, nothing too bad but just more consistent. I feel that my attitude is somewhat ****ty, as I pretty much have no energy to argue so I just bat everything off which gets her even more upset! lol Ah well, not gonna let it bother me, have some good things going on right now so just gotta keep thinking of all the positive!

I just applied for a job in Corrections, will know if I am moving ahead mid April, super pumped if I get that job, any law enforcement job at this point would be bonus If I do get it the training won't be till September or later so wouldn't affect my show date in anyway, I will just have to get used to shift work again .

Also, I am thinking about switching to a degree program, reason simply being that the program I am currently in I feel does not provide with a great curriculum. It is a community college course and I took some courses 3 years ago, and content is exact same...infact some textbooks are from 1998! Its frustrating to say the least and while education is important to me, I wouldn't mind being a part time university student studying the current research while working. I think there is more merit in that route than taking an outdated college program.

As for my workouts, they have been going great! Recently I ran out of C4 and decided to give PhD Wired a go. Took some yesterday for my chest workout and I didn't get the same feeling as C4, but I definitely got a good boost in energy and endurance. I find my focus comes from my mindset and also music plays a role as well. So so far I am happy with Wired and it was only 40 bucks for 50 servings, so not bad price!

I did my chest workout last night and was able to hit 225lbs x 10, 235lbs x 8 on bench, which I was surprised with because lately I have been feeling like I am getting smaller, but really it more likely I am just tightening up. It's just a mental thing more than anything. After workout I did a grueling 30 minutes of moderate intensity cardio, Stan added an additional cardio session so now I am at 4 30 minute moderate cardio sessions and 2 HIIT sessions. Today will be another 30 minute after my Shoulers/Arms then Tuesday will just be HIIT.

Will post up some workout details after today's workout!

Thank you, me and my girlfriend are like this, its not good but good to know it must be something to do with prep if me and you are both having these troubles

    Great work!
    Keep your head up

As for feeling smaller, its a strange feeling but i am enjoying im still pushing some decent weight for now

Awesome Jeremy about the corrections opening. I hope it all works out for you. My experience has been that life starts to fall into place the more we embrace the discipline and dedication required for bodybuilding. The carry over from bbing to the rest of life is undeniable and no doubt you will succeed in anything you decide to work at.

    Shoulder/Arm Hypertrophy

Today was another refeed day, so just hit the weights today, tomorrow will be hitting up Legs/cardio, then HIIT, then power day/cardio, than another HIIT, changing up routine again

    90lbs x 8

Had a great workout today and an amazing refeed. Yesterday was one of my worse days on prep, felt completely depleted, had headache and couldnt fall asleep for some time. Ah well, it's all part of the game

Also as for my school situation, decided its best I focus on getting my pre reqs for the uni program and get back into the workforce to make some money! Also going to be applying to couple more volunteer jobs so that should keep me busy

    Update

Weight: 193.6lbs New low!! Lightest I have been in loooong time!

Training has been going great, had a good leg workout on Tuesday, lifts have stayed relatively the same however next leg day I am going to go for 275lbs squat for 6-8 reps.

As far as my thoughts during the prep process, at this point I am feeling good, I notice I do get low energy closer towards end of week. Hunger isn't too bad, when I am hungry I just eat some dill pickles or make up some protein fluff. Being creative with the prep process has helped a lot and I don't feel I am missing out on anything.

Since starting prep I have dropped 13.4lbs, havn't run into any stalls yet (fingers crossed) but I still got plenty of cals to play with (roughly 2400).

As for my personal life, I have decided that continuing my education with a diploma I find useless would just be a waste of time and money. I think focusing on my personal training, finding another job, learning second language as well as volunteering is the best thing for me to do right now. So that is what I am going to do

I will post up details for my next workout tomorrow, which is my upper body power day!

    Upper Body Power

So today was my upper power day, had a great workout! I am finding the PhD Wired to be fairly weak, I don't get the normal feeling that I got with C4. However I do last a lot longer and feel like I can push more weight deeper into my workout, so it does help, just misses that drive I get from other's. No biggie

    Here was workout:

    BARBELL BENCH PRESS

    275lbs x 3
    255lbs x 5
    245lbs x 6

    BENT OVER ROW (Underhand)

    225lbs x 5 x 3

    CLOSE GRIP BENCH

    225lbs x 5 x 3

    T-BAR ROW

    205lbs x 8 x 3

    DUMBELL SHOULDER PRESS

    80lbs x 10
    90lbs x 8

    BARBELL SHRUG

    280lbs x 6 x 3

    BARBELL CURL

    100lbs x 10 x 3

Finished up with some cardio on the stationary bike. Yesterday I went in late at night and did some HIIT on treadmill, weather is getting better so gonna be running outside soon!

    Update and Back Hypertrophy Day

Weight: 192.4lbs Wow! Do not remember last time I weighed this, I am thinking by April I will be in the 180's for sure

Here is a few pics of where I am at now

I am feeling pretty good about where I am at now, I am 14 weeks out and I feel like I am in a good place.

So just got a job as a entry level line cook at a nice restaurant, I have worked in industry before just not as a cook, so I look forward to learning and bettering my cooking skills Still waiting patiently to hear back from Corrections, I gotta wait till end of April, just a big waiting game!

So my workout today went great!

    WIDE GRIP PULLDOWNS

    200lbs x 10
    215lbs x 10 x 2

ONE ARM DUMBELL ROW (some guy was using the t-bar machine an one of those people that switch back an forth between 15 different things...he actually came up to me and asked if I would be using it cause he was gonna be on it for a while..Grrrrrrrrrr..whatever, didnt let it bother me)

    90lbs x 12 x 3

    SEATED CABLE ROW

200lbs x 10 x 3 (felt nice an easy, big change from last time)

    STRAIGHT BAR PULLDOWN

    75lbs x 12 x 3

SEATED MACHINE ROW (back was a bit sore so decided to sub out deads)

    270lbs x 10
    290lbs x 8
    290lbs x 7
    320lbs x 6

    UNDERHAND PULL DOWN

    175lbs x 10 x 3

    ALTERNATE DUMBELL CURL

    45lbs x 10
    40lbs x 12
    42.5lbs x 10

Finished off with some abs and then went and did 10 minute of some intense HIIT on bike, cranked it up to maximum level then went at it hard for 20-30 seconds, very tough and legs felt like they do after a leg session!

    Tomorrow is chest day!

Thanks man! Yeah I mean right now everything is coming together perfectly. The new job will tide me over till I get picked up by a service and best part is its like 5 minute walk from my place. I hate taking the transit here in Toronto so now I can literally walk everywhere...I love it!

Yeah, I used to spend a ton of time in Toronto when I was in my teens, and travel was a b*tch sometimes. Walking and biking was the best way around for sure.

I'll actually be up there next weekend to catch a Drum & Bass show. Good times to be had : )

    Update

    Weight: 193lbs

I don't understand why my weight is up so much, strangely enough I feel like I am more lean than I was last week. Might just be extra water weight, I am not too sure, gonna re weigh myself tomorrow to see what it says (I did have a heavy meal before bed last night, as I was working all day so ate more when I got back)...so hopefully it is good news!

I guess as long as my body is losing fat, I am not gonna stress about my weight too much.

As for workouts, they have been going great, still going strong, havn't lost any strength really, and if my weight goes back to 191lbs, I will have lost 16lbs since starting prep, can't wait to hit the 180's!
