i bought pretty much every Flex, Musclemag and Ironman from late 92 to about mid 95

and threw them all when i moved house!

Ironman had by far the best training articles was a great source of info before widespread internet. Musclemag had the best girls and not much else, Flex better contest coverage

damn man why'd you throw them out ... what year did you throw them out? do you remember seeing any awesome flex '93 AC pics?

imo..

flex = best for gossip and random pics
muscle mag = best for contest coverage and full articles for pros like star profiles
ironman = meh
M & F = meh... too much old pics that aren't rare
MD = decent. best thing about them is they used to give huge posters in each mag

Yeah, and Muscle&Fitness had the most ads, lol. Even back in the late 80's when I would buy that magazine I was like damn at all those ads and magazine subscription cards that would fall out.

just got my new mag in the mail hehe . my jaw dropped at some of the wheeler pics. there's about 8 never before seen wheeler pics and levrone pics. year 1992. awesome magazine. well spent $15

also, what kind of articles did u want to see? like mini articles for this thread or large articles for their own thread? contest report articles or just random articles like how to train back? or gossip articles?

TBH mate, any articles from the magazines would be great-gossip articles and contest build ups/reports would be brilliant if you can post them up!

I'm pretty sure uploading the pics are ok. Just mention who the pics belong to, but when it comes to the actual articles that are written then their will be a copyright issue if the authors have a problem with you using their articles without permission.

There is always a chance if you violate the copyright with those who have written the articles you can be sued, but the chances of that happening are very very low. All they would do is warn you not to use the articles/ and or not to use the articles without their permission. I know this because I've seen it happen before. I wouldn't worry about being sued. The first thing they will do is just ask you not to post the articles or if you do post the article to mention who wrote them and give credit. They will do this because they feel like you or anyone else who is posting the articles are taking credit for their work lol. All you are doing is scanning the magazines, but that's how they feel.

the chances of a writer checking an internet forum 15+ years after writing an article for a magazine they dont even work for anymore

and sammy you could just destroy your computer when the fbi knocks on your door also have pictures of kevin on your wall instead of flex to convince them you aren't actually sammyjr

2)rip the skin off your neck or burn your neck with a lighter

also you cant be associated to those magazines if they dont have your finger prints, right?

say they belong to your dead grandfather and where gloves when holding them, and always keep them in a box that can be stacked away
