I'll be getting back to hunting as soon as I can. Did a bit in my younger days, but not for like 13 years now.
I'm saving all my cigarette money and putting it towards guns. Hopefully I'll be taking a CCW class in the next week or two.The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

Awww Damn... That sucks!
I'm close enough to the river that if it wasn't for the TWO dams (One 5 miles north, one 2 miles south) they would have hit me on the flood insurance requirement as well. With my land provisions and Timber value that would have hit me for $4300 big ones!
So how long do you have before you have to get it... Do they just add it into your annual (If you're paying annual?) or do they feather it into your escrow payment?6'4"

Just letting my Ramble family know that Im a dad to a 7lb 11oz baby girl.
Her oxygen levels aren't quite stable due to the stress she was under during labor so the hospital is transporting her to ft smith as a precaution. They said she will be there from 3-10 days so I may be gone for a while.
Momma is fine so I will be leaving shortly and will keep you guys updated."I believe that life isn't worth living if not lived passionately." - Nainoa

I was dumb enough Thursday night to go the country Walmart black Thursday sale...
We had a minor blizzard blow through here, black ice on the roads and high winds. And I've never seen this WalMart a third full in the time I've lived here.
Got the truck going sideways for 50 feet along a stretch of country road along the river where there is no guard rail. But other than that I was okay. Got there and the parkinglot looked like a Zombie Apocalpyse and the Government was handing out the last water bottles. Cars with doors open just parked at Random angles, vehicles with flashing lights just sitting there unattended and people sprinting for the door stumbling and falling down along the way.
With the snow on the tar no one could see the lines and someone two lanes of parked cars merged into one that ended in a cart corale... Some old lady assumed she could move the cart coral and put the bumper of her car on it and just stepped on it. Tires spinning as she raged out behind the wheel!
Inside was a mad house, people clogging up aisles talking trash to each other, grabbing things from their carts and running. The TV I wanted with the "Guaranteed in Stock" at 10 PM, they only had 43 of... But the line was 200 long with 10 minutes to go.
I decided to screw it... We were out of Vanilla Ice Cream and French Fries at home, so I went to go grab those to at least make some productivity of the trip. Some 92 pound wussling thought the Ice cream was a ruse to cut in line ahead of him for the TV and threatened to "beat my ass."
Even though if you gave that kid a billy club and a running start I don't think he'd be strong enough to bruise me!
While I was walking back out to the truck I saw one guy punch an old dude in the face.
WTF?
I lost some faith in humanity that day...
I should have made more mature and responsible decisions... Like staying home getting butt wasted and playing "The Deer Hunter" the home game!

Congrats, 44! They'll get her O2 levels up quick. No worries.
6 days without a smoke. 2 more weeks and I'll have saved enough for a Mossberg 590 Persuader. And my buddy found me a Springfield XDM with holster, 3 mags and 100 rounds of ammo for $500. Score! Only problem is that it's a .40 cal.The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

Yeah I still feel "Dirty" inside from that attempt at shopping!
My theory that the death storm blowing through would keep the crazies at bay was clearly dead wrong!
Lesson learned!6'4"

I hope all continues to go well...
Went for a long walk in the woods yesterday with some of my buddies who were down to visit for the holidays... With the fresh snow we could follow all the rabbit tracks to their dens... Holy Crap I need to take up rabbit hunting and eating.
The rabbits up here are a lot more healthy than the urban rabbits I used to have back at the old place.6'4"
