    Lower back pain help plz

    Hey guys I'm pretty new to this site so I'm not sure if there are any answers to my question yet, but here goes. So I've been lifting and training for the past 5 or 6 months and have seen some great results. However maybe about 2 weeks ago after lifting (not sure what I did, possibly from deadlifting or squatting with bad form?), I noticed that my lower back had a slight throbbing sensation. I had felt this before and usually it went away, and I just thought I was sore from whatever workout I may have done that day. But the pain still has not gone away. It's not a very strong pain at all, like I said earlier it's more of a throbbing sensation, but I feel it whenever I use my lower back when lifting and sometimes while I'm sitting. Is there a correct way I should go about trying to heal this myself? Or do you guys think I should get it checked? Any input would be great Thanks!
