for pure hypertrophy training an hour is enough... if you're doing strength training then rest periods can be anywhere from 3-10 minutes and generally an hour is not enough.

you must work out at home. any commercial gym i've gone to, i spend anywhere from 5-10min waiting on machines/benches during my workout. 10 min to change in/out. brb, another couple of min worth of racking weights. so now, you've spent a total of 35min lifting and resting. lol
90min is the GOAT gym time.
