Keep working on your setup and improving your arch, don't just resign yourself to having a crappy one. Also it looks like you're flaring way too early on the concentric of the press and taking your triceps completely out of it. Watch this:
Get biggers arms too. That will help. I'd recommend training bis and tris 2x per week.

been deloading this week btw so nothing to really log. @Eric, do you think I should try benching with my heels up? I will definitely try to work on my bar path, and using my lats on the descent.

Nah, keep your heels down. The majority of feds have you bench like that and IMO you are much more stable that way.

this was from 2 days ago b4 watching that video Eric posted. Jumped to 205 right after and just couldnt lock it out. I think in another week I should be good for it, or at least a nice pause on 195 or 200. Im still pretty beat up in all honesty....im going to try some of the setup tips from that video and see how it feels.

Ur upper backs pretty flat ur not on ur traps at all. Check my session for yesterday that's my new setup . I used to set like u, now I feel a hell of a lot stronger and tighter when I'm up on my traps. We r crappy bench bros but it might help u
This rep was uite fast imo. I guess you had more in you. Btw how are your shoulders/elbows/wrists feeling after running Smolov? Intrigued to try it out but little bit scared of my unstable shoulders which I have been correcting and improving lately though.

tbh my shoulders and pec tie ins (Bicep tendon?) and completely ruined. Even a pushup somewhat aggravates them. I think if u are prone to shoudler issues I might suggest staying away from JR.

Hey guys sorry to disappear. Due to some personal problems I havent really been lifting with any sort of intensity (or eating enough). When I can get back on track I will surely start logging again. Thanks for the support.
