I have decided I am tired of being so heavy and looking in the mirror and being fat. I was not planning to cut until early next year but realized i need to NOW. My biggest problem is that I have been in denial telling myself "gotta keep bulking, your not fat". I feel like I have a decent base of muscle under all this fat, but it doesn't show in these pics! I would greatly appreciate help on how to develop a meal plan to fit my needs. I've been training consistently now since January and feel like I am making progress but need to really dial in my diet....Obviously lol. Thanks for any help.
I am 5'6'' 199 lb as of today.
I train 5 days a week. Back, Chest, Legs, Shoulders, Arms.

No homo, but im jelly of your tiny nips.
Anyway, carb cycling involves eating way more carbs on training days than rest days. Usually paired with calorie cycling, eating a good amount less on rest days. Eating high carbs on training days supposedly helps shuttle glycogen to muscle stores to help recovery, while eating less on off days prevents spill over into fat stores. It seems to be popular in the IF (intermittent fasting) circle, so check out http://rippedbody.jp or http://leangains.com .
In all honesty, you look pretty solid for 5' 6" 200lbs. Of course you have some fat on you but its not lard ass status.lift heavy

Thank you for those links. I will have to do some research and come up with a diet to follow. I am interested in creating a whole meal plan. I take my lifting pretty seriously and am trying to get my nutrition on track. Ha ha sometimes I feel like a lard ass looking at some of the lean people on here! I think I have just been scared to cut and lose muscle mass.
Thanks again for your answers, time to start reading!
