    ED COAN BENCH CYCLE (1st time)

    ALRIGHT, so here we go I am going to be doing the Ed coan bench cycle for the first time and post the results, at the end of each day, I'll post how each workout went. NOTE: I'm not a noob lifter, but im a lanky long armed (6'3) lifter. Aka my 1RM is 165. But i mean thats why im doing this **** right? anyway, im goin to start this on this tuesday, and you'll see a post on tuesday night. The purpose of this is for other people who want a log from somone who has done it for their first time.

    Ill be postin tuesday night, although it wont be interesting. (I think the first few weaks are low volume)

    Wish me luck.
    STARTING 1RM:165lbs
    WHAT ED COAN THINKS IM GONNA 1RM by the 13th WEEK: 184 (holy ****)

    So clearly i started this 4 or 5 days after i said i would but whatever. Heres my results

    DAY 1:

    Flat Bench: 10 reps
    10 reps
    Close grip: 9 reps (failed 10th)
    10 reps (idk how that happened)
    Incline:9 reps (Failed 10th)
    7 reps(Failed last three)

    Im not sure if that is a good thing, because i was failing here and there. Ill stick with the program and see what happens. talk to you thursday about how the light day goes.

    So today was my light day and instead of doin 99, I just did 115 10 times for two sets and got every rep. arms feel fine, but were tired after sunday. See ya Sunday
