im not sure how many of you have actually heard the Amber Lyons story, but if you havent, you really need to at least google her.
but i would deff. suggest you guys try to find the time to listen to this whole podcast, she delves a lot into her story, but also gives a great look into whats going on around the world right now. she's an amazing journalist, and adding in joe rogan just makes it more entertaining to watch.
goodbros, always and forever.

Spaz is a good guy, but selling his soul to pimp supplements non-stop is pathetic. Normally i could care less because they're reasonable suggestions, but when he starts on designer carb supplements post workout having benefits... he's gone full retard. He doesn't know what he's talking about, and it's the complete opposite of what science tells us. Designer carbs supplements may have their place, but for your traditional weight lifter... waste of money.

Anyone find that they follow very structured diet plans better than easier, less rules-oriented ones?

What do you mean by less rules-oriented? I typically eat pretty much the same types of things everyday for the most part, with minor changes here and there, but only because it's easy to keep track without having to weigh foods, use a tracking website etc.. And I enjoy the foods I eat

pretty much strait calorie count works best for me. Weather IF style, through the day, macro's different, etc. Hit my total cals for the day and its done. Carry food scale wherever I go. I do try to stick to my macro's to a certain point, but always stick to total calorie count without over complicating it.

Sometimes I'll try to follow diet plans that are less rigid in terms of hitting exact macro amounts, etc. Usually I'm trying to accommodate times when I am going to be asked out to eat more or things like that...or just when I am extremely busy and don't want to have to do too much thinking about my diet. Basically, plans designed around allowing for occasional cheating because it is more fun to live by going out and eating every Saturday or slamming beers every Sunday, etc -- my problem is there always ends up being too many windows for cheating. I can't have a weekly cheat day when other **** happens once or twice a week that would qualify as a dieting exception.
But then when I followed CKD type stuff, I knew my plan exactly and followed my plan exactly. Might have to go to things that are that rigid so I don't make excuses to jump shipHowever beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results - Dr. John Berardi

I personally don't think it's full retard. I've been doing it for years. Is it a waste of money? I do not believe so. I've used the Scivation Cut Diet almost exclusively on and off for a few years now. Which if you knew anything about it is very low, to almost no carbs per day. The only carbs you get are indirect carbs from veggies, cottage cheese, etc. so the only direct carbs are the one's pre-during-post workout. And that's why it works great for me.
This kind of diet leaves you feeling 'flat' a lot of times. And I find using a Carb supplement post workout, or intra workout seems to really fill me out. And also seems to help with general soreness (along with my BCAA's) and recovery. I honestly have no idea how you can debate that, I'm giving you my own experiences with it.
As for 'pimping', dude I could give two sh-ts. Honestly. Buy whatever you want, I mentioned taking Vitargo for years now. Am I repping for them? No man I'm not. What I am is a legit lifter. Not an internet tough guy. Not an E-Thug. I compete every year in the ANIMAL cage at the Arnold classic. I talk the talk and walk the walk. So honestly, again, your coming after the WRONG guy here.

Come on bro, Cincy is 5-0 at home against the Giants as of recently iirc -- and with Bradshaw not carrying a full load: don't start dem bishes. I started Flaccid and Torrey Smith and got some 50 points from them two. Eli and his 2 pts can chill on my bench.
@Bond: Casino Royal w/ Craig was a rather boring/uneventful movie in my book, strong willneverwatchagain/10. Didn't even make it through the entire thing, but finished it today much to my chagrin.
Also, broke my trusty earbuds today. Didn't realize they had slid off the bench, and stepped on them. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.jpg

Ok so now you're delving in to your personal diet and opinions, which won't relate to most of the guys asking for help on this site (supplement section). You're recommending powders for guys doing normal training, instances in which it will not help them. You can promote vitargo or other designers all you want, but i'll be that guy coming in to the threads doing the opposite. Protein on it's own is proven and perfect to take after lifting-only sessions. Carbs will simply degrade in to dextrose and will not further spike MPS. You're recommending people WASTE MONEY. That's something i can't abide by.
I'm not holding a grudge, i'm not a 16 year old girl. You got called out, we went at it, it's over. You have done great things with your training, no one is arguing that.Psych & handcuffs
