I can't explain it, but I do remember learning about this.
It has to do with how the different sides of your brain interpret each side of your face in a mirror versus a picture. Mirror's unlike pictures, flip the side of your face that each eye sees. Each eye then sends that information to a different side of your brain. Since each side of your brain functions differently, when the image is flipped (a mirror) you see yourself as more attractive.
However, in real life, people just look at you straight on. Also, when you look at a picture of yourself, it is not flipped in the same way a mirror is.

Tl;dr - People with actual talent tend to overly criticize themselves, and rate others higher or as high as themselves. People lower down in actual talent compensate by perceiving themselves as hotter **** than they are in reality.☆☆ Neg back 100% ☆☆

No. Specific areas of the brain deal with vision, yes, but the information from the left eye is sent to the right hemisphere, and the right eye sent to the left. However, visual information is processed in both a low, and high route. The low route going directly to more primitive areas of your brain. This is why you become startled briefly by your own shadow. The information gets to your amygdala before it can be rationally processed in your cerebral cortex. Do you even science?

This is not true in the slightest bit. Maybe for bodybuilders, but not for the average man. Bodybuilders are the most vain, arrogant, self-centered mo'f*ckas in the world. Before I started lifting, I used to be into self loathing and making fun of myself. Now that I've been lifting for a while, I think I'm attractive, I stare at myself in the mirror for probably over 40 minutes a day (especailly while lifting) and I walk around like I'm hot sh*t.
