    What's better?

    SO many arguments, so unsure

    Carbs before bed, or protein

Carbs in the morning, or protein

All this talk about insulin spike and not bothering with high gi foods in the AM period. But eating all the high gi foods later in the evening..?

    Someone clear this up?

Currently normally use carbs morning protein before bed sort of thing

Your body needs carbs to fuel the day, if you're cutting then don't eat carbs before bed. Eat loads of protein at both times.

    And why's that?

OP, just eat, meal timing is irrelevant.

I do carbs throughout the whole day and have most of my protein in the afternoon evening, however it doesn't matter.
Eat and stop watching TMW for info

    Same, normally.

I'm not watching TMW. I did a little research into Carb backloading or W.E it is. So was literally JW if anyone on the forum did this method as oppose to the normal carbs in the morning protein in evening. My source of protein from shakes is a weight gainer and has insulin spike carbs in it anyway, so it doesn't really matter I'll get them either way. But yeah, all this talk about having protein in the morning AM then load carbs/GI foods at PM. Didn't really make much sense.

I do eat lol, not timely either I assure you. Just curious

Eat whenever it's not that serious.

Only recommendation I have is to not have carbs that are simple sugars like most candies since it can affect your sleep.
