    14 y/o, 171 lbs. Critique please.

    I just started weight training at school 2 1/2 months ago. I also started doing Zyzz's workout routine last week and just finished my first week using it. I am turning 15 next month. I am 5'6 and weigh 171 lbs with a BF of 21.6% / BMI of 27. I start swim team for my high school next week and have practice every day. The only supplement I take is 2 scoops of MuscleTech Whey Plus post-workout. I take 1 fish oil cap, 1 calcium chew, and 1 Centrum multi-vitamin every day. Bench max is 165 lbs and I'm not sure of the rest of my 1RMs.







    My goal BF is 10-11% and to have the same body type as Zyzz. Do you think I can achieve this by ~2017? Thanks.

    Bulk to 25%, than do a slow cut. So you don't lose a chit ton of muscle. If you keep at it with a good diet/workout routine and workout smart, you should be able to get there.

    I haven't looked at zyzz routine but i can almost guarantee it is trash compared to lyle mcdonalds or various other great beginner routines

    This is just to see how my body looks now and what I need to improve to get to my goal body.

    My diet is pretty much peanut butter sandwiches / eggs / chicken / turkey sandwiches all day every day.

    I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that zyzz's routine was not made for someone natty

    Not that it won't create results but it is not the best choice for someone natural.
    Don't set your goals so that they can be achieved, set your goals so that you can redefine achievable.
