I called in sick today because I ****ing felt like it. Had an awesome workout and a great day. Sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours 5 days a week sucks so much cock. It is not natural and depressing as ****.
I'm quitting my gay ass office job as soon as I pay off my car. I will be 24 years old and have no income and will be living with my dad, but **** you if you say that makes me a loser *******s. You are losers for wasting away your youth in a cubicle. Idk wtf I'm gonna do but I'm gonna take the risk in hopes of a better life, a life not spent as a corporate slave.
Come at me ****s

Just graduated in May and have been doing an office job for about 2 months and I already am working on my own plans. I'm a web developer in Manhattan. I sit behind a desk for 8 hours bored as fuk. I barely have any interaction with people. My eyes get all glazy and I get all foggy and light headed. Then I have an hour commute standing up on a packed train both ways. I'm already miserable. This is no way to live.

Does being an actuary suck as well? I'm working in corporate finance and was considering actuarial work because it's more quantitative than the mindless **** I do at my current job.
But ya, phuck the corporate world, especially at the entry level. Brb, all the boring work nobody wants to do trickles down to me. Brb, manager "reviews it" then sends it to the CFO making it seem like she did it leaving me with almost no credit for the work I actually did. Brb, back and wrist problems from poor posture and pecking away at a keyboard like a monkey"I switched my motto, instead of saying "**** tomorrow"

you just need to find the right "corporate" job. decent pay, fun colleagues (especially this) and I guarantee your opinion of a "desk job" will take a 180 turn

It's all about being happy man, just do whatever you want to do.
After many ****ty jobs I love my deskjob. Easy to eat meals and I work with a bunch of cool people.I am going to die under a heavy barbell one day and it's going to be f*cking awesome--HamburgerTrain

Yea it can get pretty bad.
I don't mind it as much during fall and winter but during the summer its horrible. I just want to be outside. Boredom and pretending to do work is actually pretty depressing. You're co-workers also play a big role.
If you're in a office job thats depressing just start looking for another job while you're still there.
