I'm pretty sure it does.. in summer if there's two guys exactly the same wearing a singlet, one pale one tan, the tan guy will most likely get the looks..

I know with guys, we prefer a tan girl rather than a pale Bella looking chick lol

Im really pale, I can't tan either. Just get really bad sunburns, thinking of trying m2. Not a big deal now though since its fall and I normally wear long sleeves.

Well everyone is pale in those countries, so its the norm...Everyone in the states is pretty tan, so it's the norm.

My husband cannot tan. He only gets to different levels of burn, lol. So no, never made any difference to me.

I won't go near a girl that tans. I think its disgusting. Especially a tan blonde girl.

there are still more white people than any other color .... mostly of European descendant

see levi lives I Sydney where everyone is out on the sun all day ..in Southern california more people are tanned
in NY or Canada people are pale unless you tan or are naturally darker...

My heritage is Eastern European and English so I'm a whitey. I must say I prefer to have a tan so I fake bake. I think a bit of a tan is more appealing than super white or super dark. I don't know that is would hinder your chances of getting a date though.

White people should only have a healthy looking "glow". Anything more looks awful.

People should stick to a shade or two different from their natural colors. Tanning and skin lightening trends should be followed wisely.
