Today was hard and even though I made my numbers, I wasn't able to go beyond! I did gain in other areas but my primary exercise was just my required 5. Atleast I made 5!

Brah, 2 weeks ago, I was doing 210 on the barbell good mornings and I was on top of the world, until I saw and older fella from TRF doing the same exercise with 300#! I was destroyed! But thanks man, I love my gym time! BTW, Warrior is the greatest fight movie EVER! Just goes to show you what determination and hard work can do for you!

Contest Day 25!
Chest Day and it was an epic failure! Weight I was pushing two weeks ago, I failed on today! My head wasn't in the game, I wasn't focused, I just wasn't ready for the gym! I think I have to attribute today to the fact that my Naval career ended today and the job search process has been the most stressful thing I have done in a very long time! I have to brush off today, get up tomorrow, refocus and get back at it tomorrow! So instead of tomorrow being legs, it will be chest and legs! I need to turn this failure into success!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! It def helped me to step back and focus and get my head where it needs to be. I good friend of mine sent me this video yesterday and it is something I will watch every day to get ready for the gym! When you think you can't, watch this video and I will tell you that you can! APE Day 28/Transformation Contest Day 28: Week 4 Review
Thoughts of the Day:
Superbowl Sunday so getting a workout in is a win lol. Was a good way to end the week. Had a slight cheat day for the first time really in 4 weeks, im sure my body appreciates the carbs and will make good use of them anyways.
So I did decide that I am not going to do the powerlifting meet in April and i am going to push that back to October. I know that i can do it, but im not gonna drop that kind of money into something im not 100% into and right now with this tempo of training my 1RM's are taking a serious hit. The show is my goal right now and if i focus on one thing i know i can crush that and then train for a few months and crush the powerlifting meet. Im getting stronger and adding some size but that is not going to equate to max strength so i think at this point this is the best course of action and the one that i will make the most out of.
Other than that im 110% into the Show and i am making huge steps towards that!

6 workouts is a very productive week in my book. Lots of progress being made at a steady rate and that is the key to this whole thing.
APE Review:
Libido is at a stupid level right now, I feel like im a Junior in High School again. Its seriously more annoying than pleasant this week. Endurance and recovery is great right now, as you can tell from the workouts and volume this week. Adding a little bit of size while getting lean, cant beat that! Mood is definitely elevated, really happy with this aspect more than anything. Overall APE has definitely kicked in and the benefits are really being felt now.
