ok i know it's not really a question about losing fat but more along the lines of body weight. if there was a boxing match both knew how to throw down: 1 guy is 160 w/ 8%bf vs 185 w/21% bf who stands the better chance?

What lee said. Even if you say they are even is skill there's still too many variables.

Assuming both are equal boxers I'd put money on the smaller guy UNLESS the big guy can get lucky early on.
That extra weight he'd be carrying will have an affect after a few rounds.Re-becoming monster.

Who's the better lay? blonde or brunette?
The body doesn't struggle to lose weight...the mind does - keep measurements, keep your sanity.

even though i asked this question i dont really think matters at all. if ur skilled, if your in better shape than your opponent you would win. i have seen guys who are tooth picks rock guys who are 30 -40lbs heavier than them.

strength has nothing to due with weight, in fact muscle does not have much to do with strength nor does lean body weight. u can be strong at any weight, also just because a person has high lean body weight, does not mean it's all muscle, which certainly means they are probably not that strong. an average guy for 5'11 is 175-190lbs with 15-20% body fat, if he does not work out what good is being 190?
if 160 boxer vs 185 whoever has more skill, quicker and strong will win, also endurance, if they can stay up they have a shot.Last edited by dildofranks1; 10-12-2012 at 12:15 PM.
