Hi everybody,
This is my first post here so if this is in the wrong category, mods please move it accordingly.
I am trying to find more info about strongman competitions, specifically the ones with FEMALE categories.
I've spent hours online and on this forum trying to find information on different events in my area, or close to it. Hell, anything in North America would be fine. I'm willing to travel somewhat since I don't expect Canada to have much.
I am not interested in strutting around in a bikini on a stage. I am not interested in running marathons or getting hella lean. I train specifically for strength and have become very passionate about it over the last year and a bit that I've been training.
But there seems to be no information anywhere on the internet. Even when I search strongMAN competitions. The only stuff I seem to find is years old, or something that I would have know the name of prior to searching... "worlds strongest woman" I just missed apparently.
Is anyone here able to help me out... maybe there's a list somewhere? It doesn't have to be a popular league and I certainly don't expect to win anything. I am merely in it for the experience.
Thanks in advance!

As active athletes and professionals in the fitness industry we saw the need for a fitness based community that promoted support instead of competition. The FIT List brings together athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and professionals to support each other in accomplishing greatness.
Our vision is to create a community that removes the obstacles that stand in the way of people accomplishing their goals in life and fitness. A community free of stereotypes and judgment, where people can come to find advice, encouragement, and share their success. It is a place for networking; for implementing and growing ideas.
To start we have invited athletes we met along the way who have humbled, inspired, and helped us become the fitness advocates we have become today.
The FIT List MANTRA: Now more than ever we need to embrace ourselves, and strive to make life about living our journey and what it brings, not just the destination. Live by moderation, empower your heart first and your body will thank you.
Be a stronger you. Build each other up. #girlgonestrong

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko
