About 6 months ago I was benching with 15 pound dumbells and felt a weird pop in my left elbow. Ever since then it has felt weird whenever I do a pushing exercise (press, triceps, shoulders) it hurts, but not badly, it's more of a popping feeling. I picked up an elbow brace for tennis and golfers elbow at walgreens and it takes all the pain away. The only thing is my elbow will be stuff after lifting for a couple hours. After I first hurt my elbow I took a month off. Two days ago I felt the same sensation doing the same exercise in my right elbow.
Any idea what this is and how I can treat it. Also what exercises can I do to prevent future elbow issues.
I don't think it is my form because I was doing just a little weight trying to work on my form. Any suggestions?
