Alright everyone, this is the start of something special for me. I'm ready to fully immerse my self in the world of bodybuilding. I have been an athlete my entire life, specifically basketball, but one of my true passions has always been in training and bodybuilding. Now that college is coming to an end for me and I have decided to no longer pursue a future in basketball, my focus is being diverted to this.
I've decided to compete in this:
CLASH OF THE TITANS in Corona, CA
INBA Men's Physique
I have 164 days from today to make this happen which is roughly 23.5 weeks. I haven't hired a coach to help me because money is a little tight right now, but I have spent lots of time on here and youtube learning how to make this happen. Perhaps I will look to get a coach to help with posing or tightening up my diet in a month or two. I feel confident I can succeed without one though. This log will help keep me accountable and hopefully I can make some new friends along the process. I am excited to track my progress and ready to learn a great deal about myself during this prep.
Current Stats:
Weight: 211.4 pounds
Height: 6'4"
Macros: 315/60/225 (2700 calories)
I will monitor this early on to see if I need to drop or increase. Will incorporate a re-feed later on as well.

Feeling decent after about 2 weeks off. I recently bothered my shoulder playing some softball so I'll probably be doing leg workouts every other day for about a week till I'm 100%. Already feel a lot better though.
My lifts aren't amazing but they are definitely increasing coming off a 6 month basketball season. I expect my numbers to go up a lot initially during this prep. I'm running 5/3/1 with various auxiliary lifts. Hit the 295 for 5 as my plus set and decided to play around and see what else I could pull for the day. Definitely going to focus hard on bringing my legs up as I think they are lacking. I'll take some progress pics very soon and ya'll can be the judge of my strengths and weaknesses. Side note; after doing some research I realized NPC contests aren't necessarily for natural competitors more or less. Am I better off finding a Men's Physique Competition put on by ABA INBA?
