i used animal cuts once upon a time. i feel like a lot of users had negative things to say about it, but I was pretty impressed. i remember i had virtually no hunger, which is something i've always battled with during dieting... although i did feel like a junkie taking 18 extra pills a day.

drive to GNC
ask for something to help me build muscle
he shows me some supplements in a paper bag behind the register
"hey is that animal pak?"
"shhhhhh, not so loud"
drive home
walk straight into bedroom, act casual
take animal pak and eat preworkout meal- chicken and brown rice
drive to gym, rip steering wheel apart and rip car door of hinges getting out of my car
shatter glass door at entrance to gold's gym
yes, i can feel the pak working like it's supposed to...
hot receptionist sees me walk in. panties melt off. she immediately orgasms
i feel at home. bros be jelly. they be mirin' my gains.
load up the bar to do deadlifts. no warm up. rep out 600 for 12 (hypertrophy day)
benedikt magnusson walks in, challenges me to deadlift
benedikt deadlifts 1100
i grab 1100. rep out for 12 (hypertrophy day).
he cries
i win
animal pak

Quite easy to tell really. One can believe the notion that vitamins in pills aren't absorbed as well as vitamins from food, so they go over 100% because some of it doesn't get absorbed completely and therefore they can still hit their needs.
Atleast that's the only logical explanation I can come up with

Well for one, the FDA sets the RDA on a lot of things. And we all know they are full of crap when it comes to certain things. Look at the current RDA for Vit D, which is 400IU. A lot of research has shown that it can be beneficial to take up to 5000IU. Also, a lot of the RDAs are based off very old research.
As far as toxicity, I think you would have to intentionally overdose on vitamins to get to those levels. Vitamin C's RDA is only 90mg. However, toxicity levels are indicated to be upward of 10g. Iron would probably be the easiest thing to OD on, but most quality multi-Vs are Iron free.Last edited by deadpool9; 10-10-2012 at 06:22 AM.

Yeah the RDA (which is now called RDI) is very low, just enough vitamins to prevent you from getting disease and it's based on sedentary individuals.
Here is how I look at multivitamins - they are nutritional insurance. Most people (me included) don't eat nearly enough variety and volume of foods that contain all your vitamins and minerals. Then you have to take into account stress from daily life, work and on top of that hard training and cardio, athletes/bodybuilders have more needs than sedentary people. A multi makes sure you get a dose of a variety of vitamins and minerals that may be missing from your diet, it fills in the gaps.Last edited by naturalguy; 10-10-2012 at 06:27 AM.

Aware... I rarely take a multi as most days I have enough variety in my diet to get my micros... I pop a multi on my whey & ice cream only type days but otherwise I don't feel the need.
We could all stand to be on whatever vitamins that guy is on. I didn't know a multi could stack on that much muscle and vascularity. :OLast edited by JasonDB; 10-10-2012 at 07:10 AM.

If you look at that site ^^^ you'll see the majority of stuff on it is articles on training, nutrition, lifestyle, motivation, not in your face product stuff. You actually have to search around to find product info. Our site is more about the lifestyle of bodybuilding/motivation than anything else.
We rarely do "product" ads in the magazines either and you'll never see us make some outrageous claims like some other companies do like "Product X will increase your bench press 500%". We find that kind of stuff insulting as a consumer. One of the things that I really like about being involved with this company is that we put supplements in perspective. We always preach training and nutrition first and then supplements are the icing on the cake. If you've spent anytime on the Animal FORVM or met us or our athletes at The Cage, expos or at an ABC event you will see that this is true.Last edited by naturalguy; 10-10-2012 at 07:15 AM.
