On the topic of young German players who Ramsey is ahead of in the pecking order: I think Eisfeld has looked fantastic whenever he's played for the first team. He's impressed me more than Gnabry. I'd really like to see him get more game time.

Every January transfer window the Arsenal board say they have 30-50mil to spend on players and Wenger hasn't splashed the cash since Arshavin in the 08-09 season. So expect the same as always, a few kids that you've never heard of that will be playing League Cup games in 2-3 years time.
