Basically the demand to see Rangers has simply shattered the supply. So many people wanted to catch a glimpse of Rangers, this was set to be the biggest event in Elgin in history.

They both fuked up in the CL and Madrid took La Liga while Barca got the Cup, so obviously Mourinho had the better results. I'm pretty sure his personality and the fact that he is Portuguese was taking into account by Del Bosque. As you can see Spaniards are not to keen on Portuguese.(i.e. Casillas voting for Ramos and Del Bosque for the Ballon d'Or).
