Hello everyone! Hope all is well..
I'm very grateful to have the opportunity in trying out/logging this protein product from Controlled Labs.

BIG THANKS to CONTROLLEDLABS (Boss Man) and RaginAzN -- along with the other Controlled Labs reps.

Smell: 10/10



As soon as you crack open the seal, the smell of cake batter smacks you in the face! Very appealing! It literally smells like freshly baked vanilla cupcakes.


Texture: 10/10




It’s very sandy! Don’t even try to scoop out a serving if you’re near a fan lol. Other than that, it’s VERY SOFT to the touch. I’m giving it a 10 because I liked the fact that I didn’t have to shake the scooper to have it drop into the shaker! A little tilt and slight vibrations – ALL poured right in!





It did not take long to mix at all! It looked like milk when it’s fully dissolved – seriously.



Taste: 10/10

One word: Milkshake!
Wonderful taste! No chemical taste at all. Even after you drink it; no chemical taste!
Oh…and NO CLUMPS. They hit the mark on their label, "Delicious No Clump.."!

Long handle on the scooper FTW!

The usual short/stubby handle on scoopers can be a pain, so this is already a plus in my book that CL chose to use a scooper with a longer handle.

I know right? I'm glad that the texture is sandy and not chalky as well as the long handle because it's annoying to get protein all over my hand when I go scooping for it. Some protein when you dump it onto of the liquid makes the protein pretty much explodes from the bottle in a mini sandstorm.

I would say it's mediocre! (I used water)

It goes down like milk. I'm going to try the chocolate with water today as well (so you guys can see what's going on) After that, I'm going to use milk through the logs

So, I finished my workout not too long ago! (Going to start up the thread for the log tomorrow -- already started the training schedule though lol)

Let's get to it..

Smell: 9/10
I took off one point because I was expecting the rich smell like vanilla. The batter smell wasn't as heavy as the vanilla but It definitely was good! It reminded me of the Nestle milkshake. I'm a big chocolate guy so no complaints! It made me smile



Texture: 10/10
The texture was very similar to Vanilla (Vanilla seems to be lighter for some reason). I didn't have to shake the serving into the shaker. Slight vibrations and it gently flowed into the shaker. Love it! That's a big thing for me.





Taste: 10/10
Oh yes...oh yes! Chocolate milkshake right there. If you're a big chocolate person, you'll fall in love with this. Not too thick, not too light....it's JUST RIGHT! (Mind you, I added water!) I had my eyes closed while drinking this. You know something is good when you close your eyes and enjoy the succulence! Sheesh!
