Are you really this bored and desperate for attention?
How much time do you spend going through the league looking for some manner in which you can misrepresent the situation without being factually incorrect?
You're like a damn journalist assigned to a story who does their best to twist and contort the facts to support their agenda.
Do you work for Fox News?

Lolshack, one health point remaining, against all odds, fired at a Berserker a few feet away and dropped him to 4 points.
Berserker turns around, charges lolshack with an "intimidate" move.
Death was almost certain.
Suddenly, lolshack panics and takes a reaction shot.
Instant kill, saving the day.
Damn, lolshack. Damn. I was preparing your memorial and everything, and you came through. Well done.
However, D1 is dead.

And I'm a Major. Sweet!
BTW: You only have 1 support and 0 assault?

All my supports and *assaults died.
However, I've got 38 new recruits coming in a couple (in-game) days, so that means it's time for some version 2s to start popping up.
Also, you and chuzzle wiped out the entire latter half of the alien base assault, since everyone else was taken out (a2m, lolshack, CYTX, gecko) by the masses of berserkers and heavy floaters. It was pretty epic.Last edited by theshoupguy; 10-17-2012 at 08:48 PM.

I wish I could afford this game.
I suspect that I might get a Gamestop gift card when some of the family celebrate Christmas at the end of November (over Thanksgiving). If so, XCOM might be what I buy...instead of the next Call of Duty
I assume that you can pause or save/resume pretty much at will, for the most part? With a baby on the way and all, might be a lot better.

I wouldn't be surprised if the price went down a bit over the next month or so... plus there's almost certainly going to be a 30% (or more) discount during the steam holiday sales.
Seems like a lot of people are interested due to the good things owners have been saying, but the price is the only thing holding them back.the crew that poop poop poops crews crew

That's how you reel them in! After you've angered them, appeal to them by describing yourself as being even less than they are.
It is just a matter of showing you have bad luck. With a different schedule your record could be drastically different. As I said bout myself, in my "division", I have the same points as Hish (who is 4-2) and 13 points less than TAAB (also 4-2), but i'm 2-4.
Hish and I have scored 425 points while TAAB has scored 438 on the season. I've had 600 points scored against me, while Hish has had 510 and TAAB has only had to deal with 470.
But in the end, it is what it is. Any given Sunday is a mother f*cker.
Don't worry boss. Send them rookies to me. I'll show them the ropes and whip them in shape. God knows half of them won't even make it out of my boot camp alive. Soldiers just ain't what they used to be.
edit: 56 kills.... oh yeah.-

There's an island in the south pacific that is about 1/6 of a square mile. It is 70 miles from its nearest neighbor, and is permanently inhabited by ~300. Some never leave the island.
Can you imagine living your entire life on an island that's 1/6 of a square mile?

On Devil's Island, they simply used to eat the smaller prisoners. Not sure if penal colony life has changed much since then.

Interdasting!
Citing Jason Cole of Yahoo!, NBC6 South Florida's Courtney Fallon relays that the Dolphins could be making a play for Bowe.
Recommendation: Bowe is a Miami native and the word is that he'd like to play for the Dolphins, but it's unclear whether or not this is pure speculation at this point or something that could develop into a rare high-impact in-season NFL trade.
Would definitely be an upgrade over Hartline and Bess. I bet Tannehill would cling to him like Skelton with Fitzy.-

The DeltaWing (The Penis Car) crashes out in practice before the race weekend even begins.
It was a rough one too. No luck for this car. Had a similar fate in the 24 HoLM.

Holmes getting hurt made it a blunder. But him being 1-5 and me being 4-2 has yet to make me feel too bad. Course now that Murray is hurt I am very much regretting that trade.
