I want to get into contract acquisitions and negotiations. I'll also need to be properly sauced for it. Not too much. But enough to get in the zone. I would picture it, all of a sudden a supervisor or coworker would be along with me and freak out when they see me mixing a drink prior to a meeting. I'd be like, "Hey! Do you want me to land this deal or not?"
Also, on the beemer/bimmer issue. Technically both are pronounced the same, but the car crowd adopted saying it how it is spelled to denote the difference. It became a sort of pride thing. Also was a quick way to tell who was into into BMWs or not.-

The fact that Urban Dictionary gets it so wrong doesn't surprise me.
It is still not "beamer" no matter what a site populated by people who don't own BMW vehicles says.
Look at all of the BMW community. It's not www.beamerforums.com it's www.bimmerforums.com.
When you type "beamer forums" into Google, what does Google do?
Did you mean "bimmer forums?" Showing results for "bimmer forums".

BMW makes great cars.
Most of their non-European consumer base, however, are pure smegmas.

Also...Bimmer, beemer, both are English slang terms...and according to the below book Beamer is an American Slang term. Since neither of you fancy crumpets and tea, you should each TASB & LFYOF. HTH

Well while I'm over here, I am running through rental cars for the contract. When I get back to the states, I'd have to worry about getting a new vehicle. I'm not sure what I'd want. I love BMWs. German cars in general, but I am biased towards them. I think Audis look good, but thankfully, they've topped BMW in the douche department.
I will say, even if i keep my car, whenever I'm back in the states for good (or at least awhile), I am interested in getting another e36 M3. I loved my old one. Hard thing would be finding one in decent shape without a god awful amount of miles. I dunno about the new bimmers, but that car had the easiest oil change job (provided you had the top side changer). 30 minutes, oil and filter were changed and done.-

Life in Norway sounds pretty good but that's ridiculous.
I think the reason so many douchebags drive 'Bimmers' here is because they're overpriced. If they cost what they should, i.e. 1/3, then the latte-sipping cockgobblers would look for another European brand to embrace.

Life in Norway is pretty good, even though they have luxury tax, etc, yes. My current boss has something like four thousand acres of land there, partly on a fjord. It's incredible. The tax structure may be harsh but quality of living is definitely up there... as long as you aren't nearby when a rampaging psycho kills 51 people with a rifle.

Beamer is the American slang...as in most "slang" terms I'm sure it began as a misspelling of the proper term. But if you're going to argue with published authorities quoting google searches then I've got nothing else on the topic for you Amigo. You can blow some cash on writing a new book to contradict the term if you'd like.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #56 ▪█─────█▪
