The sense of entitlement that people have is just ridiculous. Everyone has a "right" to own a home, a smartphone, a new car, a job, etc. No. You have the opportunity for those things. Not a right.

Part of that stems from how it is beaten into kids head from the beginning and then they retardedly believe the words at face value:
"If you go to college you'll get _____."
"If you do this, you'll get that." Bla bla bla

Somewhere along the way, the sentence, "Work hard and study hard...." has lost its way. So kids hop out of school and are expecting the promises that were made to them early on, thinking the work doesn't have to be done. Also the entire system (across everything) has degraded. Starting in school, as they shuttle kids to the end, whether they make the cut off or not. Job trainings, certifications, everything. Bars are lowered and it becomes easier to "achieve". Plus, once you have the paper that says you should get a job making X dollars, that is all that is required. Why should you work once you're already there?

The game has you managing a settlement on top of an active dungeon. Instead of playing the hero who delves deep into the dungeon, how about playing the town that houses and caters to the hero's needs?

I couldn't tell ya to be honest. Seems like mainly it is town building. But I'm guessing with a sense of you're trying to defeat the dungeon/monsters by making a town that attracts/caters to adventurers. That is purely my speculation though.
