You didn't ask me but I'll share mine.
Give him a year out of the sport and he'll want to be back on a MotoGP bike. 27 is too young to quit racing.
In terms of talent he's as gifted as they come.
Even Lorenzo has stated this recently. Incredible rider who did something 2006 champ Nicky Hayden and 7-time world champion Rossi couldn't do and that was tame the Ducati. He's in a league of his own there.

Agreed. He seems to have the most raw skill (one of the current riders stated that recently). Maybe it was Lorenzo.
I remember one race in particular (the first motogp race I watched while knowing some of the riders and what league it was, etc) I gained a ton of respect for Stoner. The ducati was squirrely in every turn. Wanting to understeer going in and was fish-tailing upon every exit. The bike looked near violent with every exit and he held it together and stayed up front with Rossi (this was when Rossi was with Yamaha then I believe).
But with each new rider to try to recreate his success on the Ducati and miserably failing has made me like him even more. Especially since Stoner's early success was attributed purely to the extra power and top end the Ducati bikes had. People stating that put one of the many other great riders on it and they'd be raping the races. LoL @ that.-

A few more comments...
He had a great battle with Rossi at Laguna Seca 4 years ago on the Ducati coming off second best and never seemed to get over it because he's been taking cheap shots at Rossi ever since. Then again Rossi and his engineer did make comments that seemed to suggest they thought it would be easy to get more performance out of the Ducati and that experiment has been an epic disaster – zero wins in 2 seasons. Rossi returns to Yamaha in 2013.

So, I'm growing a mustache for "Movember". It's something we do in Canada to raise money for the fight against prostate cancer. Growing a mustache is going to be kick ass.
