Guys, will AC3 be less enjoyable if I havent played AC2 and its 2 expansions? Havent played them really. But wanna get into it.

I'd say not because they are two separate people and places. Have nothing to do with each other really. The game play is totally different. With AC2, very easy to progress. With AC3 it's my god how do you do that? Where is the building I need to get to? Why am I so poor all the time? I've got to go hunt some more? damn it!!! It got to be for me that my pride would not let me stop playing it.


But like I've said recently about AC3. The graphic's are the best yet. The water looks damn real. The naval missions are just epic!

Thanks. But the overall story(I heard it is connected). Im after the story. Oh and will someone like me who doesnt collect every damn thing enjoy it? I am honestly bothered with your complains, you make it sound like a chore. And you used to put on your PSN note that its a 6.5, kinda turned me off .lol

There are no in-game benefits that I can remember for collecting all collectibles (except an in-game 'trophy' if you will), but they are required for the Completionist trophy. Without spoiling anything, the "main" storyline linking the Assassin's Creed games together is IMO very weak, the individual characters 'throughout history' story-lines (e.g. Ezio/*****r) is what makes the story, and lucky for you, it's a new character for AC3. If you're not gunning for the plat and are not fussed about completing additional 'filler' content (collectibles/optional objectives/side-missions, as this is where the frustration lies due to glitches/poor design) then it will be a very good game to play.

Thanks. I dont mind playing games for the trophies, but only if its doable and not rage-inducing/time consuming ones. Only got 1 plat myself.

But if it doesnt add to the story then takes up too much time, no thanks! lol

Yeah, set on easy. Dont do any side stuff. Have YouTube by your side. Do only what is needed and that's it.

The game adds a lot of extra stuff to do that you dont get trophies for. I did everything but get every relic yet. Almost done with those.

Plus when you add all the hours just random exploring. It's just very enjoyable.

the map is not very big at all... skyrim seems at least 3-5 times bigger unless you count all the water on the edges of the map, then it might only be 1.5-twice as big

There's enough land there to explore for a long time, but it's nowhere near Skyrim size, and I would guess that Just Cause 2's map is also bigger


I did 5 dead quests, maybe 5 hunter quests, 3 supply drops, 2 trial of the rakwhatevers. Didn't do any blue exclamation points but I completed a good chunk of the game. Also didn't get the second half of the relics but I have no desire to collect every relic and inspect them individually anyway
