Oh lawd. Granted I realize Im in New Orleans to visit family for Christmas but never expectes to take a late night visit to Bourban street.

Finnaly rode a mechanical bull at least, can check that off the bucket list. Also visited a bar that lets you keep the glasses.

Oh lawd. Granted I realize Im in New Orleans to visit family for Christmas but never expectes to take a late night visit to Bourban street.

Finnaly rode a mechanical bull at least, can check that off the bucket list. Also visited a bar that lets you keep the glasses.

Pics or it never happened. Ya know, I competed in rodeo for years and have NEVER ridden a mechanical bull...definitely on my bucket list lol.

Have only ridden a 50-gallon bull, never a mechanical. Did you make 8?

I've ridden a 50-gallon as well...tied up in trees LOL!!

I competed in barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying in HS...just barrel racing in college.

How ya feeling? Recovery still going well?

I'm fairly certain I lasted 8 seconds on all 3 attempts. I've riden horses before but nothing crazy, and I think my Jiu jitsu background helps. It was really fun, I wanna find a place in little rock and do it again.

Random comment - can women stop using their pregnancy pictures as their "before" picture? I don't think this really counts. Take a picture shortly after having the baby and use that as the "before" pic...but not while you are pregnant. It's just not right.

Reps on recharge. I've always wanted to try that, but haven't been to a place that had one. My bucket list must wait a bit longer.

For me what helps is writing out my problems on paper. It's good to be able to gets all those thoughts and feelings out so that I stop thinking/obsessing over and over. I think it also helps identify exactly how you are feeling so you can start to move on. The problem may still be there but it may help you feel more objective in the way that you view it. When you are done burn/destroy the paper and let go of all those negative emotions. Remember... Nothing matters much, and most things not at all. Try to focus on the things in your life that you are grateful for while the rest sorts itself out. It will all be ok in the end, if it's not ok, then it's not the end.

Recovery for the hernia surgery is actually going better than the triceps. Only 2 weeks of torture left. I keep getting the Whoooaa from everybody!
