I am very proud of myself tonight, staying in cuddling with a good book after getting my kiddo off to bed, plus after an hour of fighting with myself of what was for dinner I didn't cave. It went something like devil sarah on the right shoulder "PIZZA EAT IT, COME ON WHAT IS ONE MORE HOLIDAY OF PIGGING OUT", and the angle Sarah on the left shoulder, "Look at the damage you already did, and how sick you feel just from that one christmas meal, EAT THE VEGGIE STIR FRY AND EGG WHITES". I said to devil Sarah wow misery loves company, but sorry I do believe your misery just ran dry, cuz last time I checked Hostess went out of business, and I win. Needles to say I ate the veggie stir fry and egg whites. hehehhehhe

Is my gym the only damn gym that's closed on New Years Day???? Ugh. Whatever. I did chest today, will just skip biceps this week.
Also, I deadlifted 225 for three reps on Sunday, so that totally made the end of the year for me.

1st workout of the new year is in the books! Hit legs and abs . . . gym was really dead at 6am. Was kind of expecting a bit of a crowd from the resolutioners, but maybe everyone is sleeping in (or sleeping it off). I'm sure it will be a zoo in a couple hours. Happy New Year everyone!

mine is 24 hour and is closed today AND tomorrow....upper body power day when i come back, will be difficult to find a free bench since everybody and their mother is going to work chest that day i think :/

so ive been having an "omg im the best thing in the world and everyone wants me" moment at the gym cause i thought this older lady was eyeing me
-was doing squats and she comes and sets up in the rack next to me
-do one more set and start to unload plates
-she stops me and ask me my name and starts talking to me
-ask me what i do and told her im in college...and she made a weird face
think she thought i was older

LOL, my oldest is 12 and he is a drop taller than me (by drop I mean 1/2 inch or so---hahaha)
DH is over 6 and I one of my brothers is 6'2.

Happy new year! No unusual resolutions this year. I just want to get through another 12 months of consistent gym going.
