hat's exactly what I do ..
I save bacon fat for cooking in general, try making french toast or pancakes with bacon fat or any potato dish
smear it on your chicken before it goes in the oven, a little in your skillet before you grill your steak ...hnnng

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone regardless of experience unless it's to work around an injury of some sort
however many novice lifters will start performing partial ROM especially when learning to squat because of lack of flexibility and confidence

in regards to BBing a novice BBer can use partials, I wouldn't call it an advanced move .. In fact I'd say most of them do half squat regularly



I understand what you are saying but simply because some pro BBers use partials it doesn't make it a good or better choice especially if we are speaking of overall athleticism, strength and good form .

Partials are only half effective more so if you are talking about a compound exercise like the squat

there are better isolation exercises to work the quad then partial squats...
example ... front squats full rom will always be better than half back squats

Agree... much better ways to do iso work. I guess a much better example of valid use of partial ROM, would be fixing weak spots; board presses, DL to knees, rack pulls, etc.

ohh ok but that's a whole different thing we were talking partial squats originally
but yeah those could be considered partials though they are strength training movements

How did you do them?
I did part of a DLB shoulder workout and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to raise my arms to wash my hair.

Did them on the floor . . . there's a "rack" that they store the exercise balls in that is just the right height to get your ankles under. I wasn't brave enough to try them on the lat machine off the ground. Which was a good call. I could only do a few without having to give myself a push up from the floor. Pretty lame, but gotta start somewhere.

Had an awesome time. Martin Solveig wa the best, then Calvin Harris. Bingo Players and Tiesto were on par. We stayed until about 8 then went in search if food - was starving!

Thanks!! I just stayed at the main stage because we had a spot with some shade. There were a lot of sunburnt people there who will be feeling very sore today. Martin Solveig and Calvin Harris were pretty commercial but that suited being out in the sunshine. I felt like it should be 2am at a club listening to Tiesto. All in all a great day!

From what I recall, your comments about women being "whales" was UNSOLICITED. It began in a Thanksgiving recipe thread and bled out to other threads.

There are plenty of ways to tell someone something w/o being offensive.

But hey, since you like brutal honesty, let me say something to you:

Quit trying to rationalize acting like a jerk.

But I agree with you LBM. It is slow here. I miss the funny comments from the "rate me threads" and those silly trolls from the Misc. They were cheap entertainment and the responses to them were hilarious!!

Yesterday=re-diong tree lights and adding cheetah/glittery ribbon. Yes I secretly love the cheetah tree.
Today=taking 4yo to get broken arm x-ray. Good thoughts to us, please, that the bones are still where they are supposed to be/are healing nicely.
