I prefer the BB bench press. I'm at the point where I have to DB press 100s and up for reps and it's a liability for my shoulders. The barbell feels better. I really like BB incline presses.

I think the only reason DB bench feels better is because I've done it more. If I did both equally I do not know which I would prefer. DB is just easier when the gym is packed. And I don't dare do them on "Bench Press Monday."
I ate dinner and I'm still hungry. Now what? 147 calories to go. I don't think cake will fit today.

I think my metabolism is ok but all my nuts are at work. Including my husbands
I ate cake 5 days in a row and didn't gain a lb. I actually lost .1 lb. go figure. Normally I don't eat dairy but I did this time and it had no affect on me for once. I was so happy I ate it all week.

barbell is absolutely terrible vs dumbbell for chest training
in fact, the only reason i can even imagine someone wasting their time with BB bench (besides specific strength training) is to add in another stimulus for max chest development
DB bench:
1)can train heavily without a partner
2)develops stabilization muscles (much much better if your an athlete)
3)more natural range of movement (people who train BB every week develop shoulder issues)
- also allows the ability for a better muscle squeeze at the top of the motion

It snowed today! And I came in myself watching Snowshoe's first snow vid. Definitly involuntary
