Leg days are interesting at my gym. It has a nice long set of stairs, and while most of the equipment I use is downstairs, I do use some upstairs. So I beat up my legs for 20-30 minutes downstairs, then have to go upstairs to use some things up there. I wind up dragging myself up using the handrail, and later I pretty much fall back down them when it's time to go downstairs again.
There is an elevator, but I have not yet wimped out enough to use it

Had to drag myself up the stairs at work today. People in the office were looking at me a little funny.Vic's transformation thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147620463

Unfortunately there are probably a small number of uneducated miss guided individuals on there who believe in what they are saying but for the most I would say it is all male locker room chat! All front. Put them in front of a woman and they would not say half of what is said on the interweb

Was almost this ^^^ That test was long as fuk lol.
But, finished it and got ISFJ. Need to go back and read more...don't really know what that means. My percentages were pretty low on all of them, so I think that just means I'm indecisive as hell, right??"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." ~Philippians 4:13

I used to read (but never post) in the big Misc just for the entertainment value. Then I realized it was really beginning to make me think poorly of men in general. And I know all guys aren't at all like the guys there. So I stopped even reading the stuff. I thought to myself, if I keep reading this I'm going to get infected with a mutated form of their disease.

Well, some do, but I would say, in general, no. I think it's an atmosphere thing.
What I mean is that there are certain expectations of acquired behavior in the MISC. This behavior is poor. You can't generalize from it though. If you did that, when you went to other boards (say /b/ or some reddit forums) then that would convince you that most people are essentially monsters. We know that's not the case.
So what's happening is a result of peer expectations and behavior modification, essentially what cowboybiker is saying. The reason the MISC is a popular board is because it's so far out there.

Interesting choice in terms...
I'd say misogyny is expected behavior. I might believe that a high proportion of the MISCers who are under 18 might have some mistaken ideas about women (primarily because they have little ACTUAL contact with them), but the majority are playing a part.
I'm aware of one message board (I can't for the life of me remember the name of it though) where I would say that the people who post there ARE misogynistic. From the little reading I did on that forum, the anger seems to largely stem from having to pay or 'getting screwed over' in divorce. They celebrate threads where posters chortle about getting vasectomies, which they get to prevent 'future drains on their resources'.
Sad lot, they are.

It's sad. Yes, some people get screwed over in divorce. It happens. Some people are simply rotten to each other. This isn't a male or a female thing.
The idea that child support is some sort of scam, or that a women will 'naturally' desire to get her meat hooks into you in order to get pregnant so that she can then eventually collect child support simply boggles my mind.
I didn't read deeply into the board, it was more of an oddity (like the September Clues forum), but the misogyny and the idea that children were mere parasites disturbed me. Ugh. I have to wonder, do they love their children at all? I'm guessing no. The board reinforces their feelings and their children bear the brunt of their skewed worldview. The women have to try to soothe the children, but at least they are no longer emotionally (ie, in love with) the deluded a-bags.
Hah, I've never watched that show. I just found the correlation a bit amusing.

I honestly don't have the time to read the MISC. I am too busy slooting around in the hopes of getting my meat hooks in a man. Also, I cannot read.
