Not from what I can see, seems pretty high in carbs.. but I guess I can sacrifice it. I'm doing paleo+ whey so I'm not really having many carbs elsewhere.

Ladies, don't waste your hard earned money (or your husband's ) on supplements, they do very little in comparison to solid diet/exercise routine.
I don't feel like protein powder is a waste of my money. I have a hard time actually eating enough meat to meet my daily requirements. I get sick of foods easily.

Hahaha, I MISS IT SO BAD !!! We don't cut wrists in Romania, but boy , do we get crazy celebrating ! Ever seen the whole country shutting down cause of a football game ? TV flying on the windows ? Whole plaza full of cars and flags and bottles ? People dancing in the streets ? Awesomeness !

Every year, the area I'm in has this football game called the Hot Bowl, with college kids. That's all I know about it because I don't follow sports. Every year, one of the teams stays at my hotel. Nothing makes me feel shorter than a whole team of giant football players walking in and out of my hotel.
I'm so over food at the moment. Just have chicken for lunch and I did not want to eat it.
I ate chicken too frequently my freshman year of hs, even when I didn't really want it. Couldn't eat it again for six years. I JUST recently started eating it on a kind of normal basis. Now I'm extremely picky with the chicken that I eat.
Yeah I do cook it differently. I do prefer red meat but try to mix it up. I probably only have a shake every other day at the moment. Just depends whether I'm hungry in the evening after dinner.

All this talk of cookie dough is reminding me of what got me into working out.
I was 18 and home from school watching Oprah. They had all these women who had made amazing weight loss transformations but instead of getting skinny they were all buff and amazing.
One of them was doing pushups in her kitchen and was like "my one cheat meal is this..".. grabbed a roll of cookie dough, smothered it in whipped cream and went omnomnomnom.
My mind was like "SO I CAN EAT CRAP AND LOOK AMAZING AS LONG AS I WORK OUT? HNGGGGGG"
be careful about which protein powder you use
there are threads flowing around the web that have independent scientific data showing insane amounts of heavy metals in some of these protein powders. each one was rated very different from the next. These tests were diversified and done by independent scientists and include pics of the sample. random people send them their protein samples and the results are generally the same.
Also, many of them lie about the protein content. Its highly inflated there were tests done. Myofusion comes to mind among many others. it only has about half of the actually protein per scoop than what is listed on the tub.
i believe ON proteins received high ratings across the board. low amount of heavy metals and high amount of protein per scoop (i believe gold standard was 93% accurate which is the highest)

looks like muscle milk and EAS myoplex are the worst offenders
doesn't surprise me at all , both brands give me cramps in fact all commercial brands with flavoring and sweeteners gives me some sort of issue
I'm done buying overpriced crap I get mine from a small company, family run business they use US whey
I buy it flavorless and it taste great plus they can provide you with the lab sheet from a US lab
