I have not! But outlines are pretty much done... I've been very slow with it. I have a March deadline though because my artist is entering me into a comp.

I'm actually going to get a different tattoo this week. "Break free" in arabic calligraphy, I've designed it myself. I'm getting it done in brown ink so it looks like it's been "tanned" onto me.

They're working on ink technology ATM. There's an ink being developed that can be "dissolved out" with an injectable solution when you get sick of the tats. Maybe in a couple years you can go for it!

Once that comes out, tattoos will be everywhere. Although I'm sure the ink and the solution will be ridiculously expensive for the first few years.

Haha I really don't think it'll happen. for a lot of people they don't get tats because they're scared of the pain, don't want to spend the $, don't know what to get etc.

The hype will die down when shows like Miami Ink etc fizzle out.

Either way, I live and will probably always live in an area with religious migrants.. so they won't be getting tattoos any time

Sometimes I think being "vanilla" is more uncommon than having tatts and piercings etc. I tried a belly button piercing (twice) and cartlidge piercing in my ear but they didn't work out. So now I only have one piercing in each ear.... certifiably boring! LOL.

Not so much "feminine" but they make me feel very very sexy. When I got my arm done at first I couldn't stop taking photos of myself. My ideal of female sexuality isn't a soft, 'feminine' look though.. I've always wanted to be the Xena and not the Snow White.

They fit in with an image I've had of myself since I was about 16 so it's nice to grow into that person.
