No offense guys but gem won't change until he gets some Srs therapy/medication. Posit comments can't fix depression. He will find ways in his brain to rationalize why everything you say to him is wrong.

Gem. Stop tryig to find the "perfect" therapist because the last one "wasn't good enough". That's your illness, not the therapist. You don't want to go so your rationalizing why you don't.

Also are you still eating like 2k a day and running a huge deficit? That is bound to mess up your hormones and make it unlikely that you'll be in the least bit horny. Not to mention its not a good idea for someone struggling with mental issues to severely restrict calories. Even the happiest person will have a large change of mood when on a super restrictive diet.

Been eating about 3200 per day while lifting (Jason's modified 5x5). I just want to get stronger for once lol. Im sure that around 3k calories is pretty much my maintainence calories. I decided that I don't want to gain weight at the momment, but cutting has not been working that well, so I figured for the time being I'd just stay about the same.

i'm a firm believer in the fact that the best thing you can do to bring yourself out of a funk is to get on a solid diet, exercise plan and sleeping schedule. My roomate is going through something like you describe right now and has meds for it, and while I dont want to discourage you from getting help, I swear those meds are the main problem now. He uses them as an excuse now to lay around all day, skip tests in classes, and just blames everything but himself for his problems.

So stick with it, and keep killin' the gym

I don't know what you are trying to prove.

Either way.. each first picture has a picture in the 3 picture series that seems like it would obviously have something in common with. This would be to easy though. The other two pictures seem to have very little in common but one of which is the right answer because they wouldn't make the test that easy.

Alex, how do you even get a 100% on something? Is there some way of studying that I'm not aware of which leaves 0% room for error? Or are you just a wizard?

Know the information front and back. When I can look at a study guide and not even hesitate as I reel off answers then I know I'm gonna put it in that test's brown eye.

I've gotten 100% on a couple tests in things like statics. Knowing the vocab section by heart and then knowing how to work the problems by doing every problem you can find and making sure you can do it.

For me its easier to make a 100 on written/short answer tests rather than multiple choice. sometimes I get caught up in "well, really either of these two are right"

Recognition should be easier than recall. Granted there are tons of factors that play into that.

It does depend on who is marking, soo much syntax.

Math is a language, some people take its structure more strictly

Example: One of my calc courses I remember losing a .5 not for having wrong numbers but because my equal signs weren't all in line.

Did you get both you lower and upper wisdoms taken out? Luckily I only got my bottoms taken out so I was only out of commission for a couple days before getting back in the gym. Got back to eating solid foods about 5 days later.
