I IF/eat bigger meals cause I dont really have time during the day and eat a big dinner. not a huge "MAGICAL 8 HR FEEDING WINDOW" guy or anything
as far as icecream goes its the one thing that fills me up actually lol, and I just eat 1 pint a week to start the squats off strong (along with some cardio my cals dont really change for the day).

not bashing IF at all, I think its actually the only tolerable way to cut....but yeah I mean no harm in ice cream if it actually fills you up. for me its the complete opposite though which is why i suggested potatoes...anyway, do you eat a lot of veggies? If not try having a massive salad with some light dressing or heaps of broccoli with your meals if you dont already. that should keep you pretty full.

I've found I get fuller if have larger meals earlier in the day. It's kind of like drinking. Once you get drunk, you just need maintenance drinks to keep you going. I've also found that fasting for longer periods makes it a lot harder for me to get fuller on my first meal. I've started doing a small meal around 12, usually a shake at class. Then a good sized meal when I get home. And then I can have another 2(ish) meals + a postworkout shake. My bigger meals aren't that calorically dense, though. Chicken and greens or potatoes depending on when/how many calories I have.

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. It must be serendipity, because I was just thinking how I feel fuller when I have a Super Super Power Shake
Guys what up, first post here and im bringing you guys an amazing recipe.
Its a shake i accidentally made and will warn you, this stuff is strong, and i mean really strong, its also an aphrodisiac as I somehow came to accidentally discover.
The ingredients are for one person for a 15 fl oz cup.
Put these ingredients in your blender.
1. 5 ice cubes
2. 2 bananas
3. Pure raw honey, 2 tablespoons (3 recommended)
4. Nutella, 2-3 tablespoons
5. 1 raw egg (2 recommended)
6. Various flavorless/tasteless vitamins/amino acids (optional)
7. A large cup of milk.
Blend and serve.
Warning, this drink will make you Focused and Concentrated as hell, and to girls, warning, if you see your bf on this drink, run away as fast as you can he will come for you and god knows how many new ones he will rip open. In other words, he wont be happy, he'll be filled with teatosterone and wont make love to you, he will conquer you.
Yes this drink is massive, and heavy.
Ive placed 5 of those big ass spoons that come with the mass builders and never felt full on it, its like i ingested nothing, but with this, like i said its massively strong. Massive, heavy, strong, power, control, dominion are the keywords for this drink.
Drink well and responsibly, and be sure to get your gf to a safe distance or give her some of this too to make her be able to take your ownage less painfully.

yea i'm ok about veggies could be better. today i took a fiber/low carb wrap and slammed it full of straight veggies as a side to a main meal.
for me, i'll slam a shake when i'm out the gym and then eat a large meal early afternoon. if that first actual meal is pretty big/consists of alot of rice/potatoes it'll fill me up all day. I get up and train before class cause i enjoy my afternoons/have homework and such so fasting for long periods just kinda comes w it.

Say what you want, but the methods I laid out are tried and true and have stood the test of time and are used by all top level NPC competitors to get shredded for competiton, and go ahead and find me one of them, or any professional body builder and ask them what they do to get shredded for a competition or drop bodyfat and Id be willing to give you 100 dollars for each one that says they do intermittent fasting or have simple sugars in their diet, and If any of them do, Ill show you the ones that cant get their conditioning straight and dont do very well.
And I refer back to my point, the proof is in the pudding. NONE of those on here calling me dumb or an idiot look better OR are MORE shredded than me, period. So obviously, by what Im saying and how I look versus how they look, it tells all you need to know.

Dave is absolutely right about the carbohydrate discussion. Carbs are not all digested exactly the same and there is certainly a difference in how you feel based on different food choices (digestion, energy levels, etc.). Food choices can indirectly affect how you look. Anyone who says "well it all just ends up as glucose anyway" doesn't really understand, it's not that simplistic.
As far as the meal frequency subject, most bodybuilders eat smaller, more frequent meals because it's easier for them to digest based on the massive amount of food that they need to take in.
Again, as I pointed out yesterday this is a silly discussion. What Dave refer's to doesn't apply to the average person posting here. He was competing on the highest level of amateur bodybuilding where the little details can make a big difference. For you guys that want to walk around at 170lbs "in good shape" these things won't make a big difference.
