    Is this wise?

    Currently i'm doing

    Chest/Tri
    Back/Bi
    Legs/Abs or Shoulders
    Rest
Yes I have compound exercises incldued in each eg. bench/squat/bent over barbell row, pull ups.
no powercleans, haven't tried deadlifts yet

is this workout at a disadvantage? say compared to the 5x5 program here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=148036063
In His workout you're working every muscle group pretty much. Whereas mine is split up into three separate days.

I was just wondering if it's wise to continue what i'm currently doing
or if its better to go about it where I do hit multiple muscle groups every time I workout, rather than one or two?
Because I know resting is just as important, i'm wondering which is "better" if there's really any difference

Lastly, is 5x5 simmilar to the Ripple toe's SS? Just wondering what the difference is. This 5x5 program sticked in this thread is for hypotrophy right? (which is my main goal)
Yes i'm aware that a bear is not a bison.

Your goal should be to train as often as you can and still recover from it. The second option is a good setup and one I would recommend to most people to start with. Not to mention the guy who wrote seems very willing to help those who choose to run it. Hard work, progression on basic compound lifts, and enough food and rest for your goal should be your main focus.
"it's likely one of us will have to spend some days alone"
