Weight affects it, not height. However, being taller has many advantages.
Take 2 guys both at 10% bodyfat and of very similar body compositions.
Say the 5'7" guy is ripped at 150 lbs.
Say the 6'0" guy is ripped at 180 lbs.
Now take their ESTIMATED maintenance, including about 1 hr of exercise per day. I'm using 15 x bodyweight, which is damn close to what most calculators would give anyway and is what Lyle recommends here: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat...ic-intake.html
5'7" 150 lb guy's ESTIMATED maintenance would be 150 x 15 = 2250 cal
6'0" 180 lb guys ESTIMATED maintenance would be 180 x 15 = 2700 cal
So 6'0" guy would get to maintain on almost 500 calories more per day.
Being a manlet sucks, ask me how I know.3 year transformation: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147790393
Are you fat because you're lazy or are you lazy because you're fat?
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Well BMR is calculated using BF% and weight... So the two people, even though different heights, would need to be the same weight and same BF% in order to have the same BMR. If I'm correct it's body weight in KG X 100-BF% / 100 X 21.6 + 370.
Learning something new here every single day... and I'm still not sure if I understand : /
