I have been working out for about a month and my bench has gone up 20 lbs. I just went to walmart and got Creatine X3 elite series pills and also Pure Protein Whey Protein Frosty Chocolate.
The whey protein has 25g of protein per scoop and i'm going to drink it immediately after every workout. The creatine bottle has 60 pills and i'm supposed to take 2 servings of 3 pills each per day so it'll only last me 10 days. I was wondering how much lbs do you think I could gain by the creatine if I drink a **** load of water ?Also does the protein shake taste like ****?

Sorry buddy, but 15 LBS will take around 2 years from what I've experienced and read (of muscle, that is). If you were to hop on a cycle, you could do it. But otherwise just workout hard and do the best you can do.
I find that too many people set a "I need to gain exactly 14 lbs in so and so period of time". Just work out as hard as you can and the results will come my friend.
As for the sups, I don't think that's good creatine. 6 pills a day only lasting 10 days? Seems like **** to me. You can gain ten pounds by the creatine and water, but it won't be muscle and you'll only look blocky and watery.
Good luck to you my friend.
EDIT: Also what Tom said, **** supps man. You need to eat REAL food. Read the stickies and learn up dude.http://www.nusick.com - For fans of Disturbed, Korn, Linkin Park, System of a Down.

of lean muscle? 25 lbs? I've seen people gain that much, but its almost always a great deal of fat, water, and height gains from general growing. I doubt 25 lbs, then again you are much more aesthetic than me. I'll have to do more research. But I've never, nor have I seen any natty lifter make progress like that. I'll have to look it up more.
EDIT: I also didnt notice I said 2. I meant to hit 5. The combination of Jersey Shore and poor typing ability have failed me once again.
2nd EDIT: Well, In doing research, BB.com says 23, on a study done on high level atheltes. Livestrong says between 5-30 depending on genetics, Scooby says 5, but the general consenses i've seen is 10-12.
A lot of people say 25 due to the two pounds a week rule, but that isn't all muscle. a deal of that is fat.
Thanks for pointing that out, learn something new every dayLast edited by Whino; 10-04-2012 at 09:06 PM.

If it takes you 2 years for 15 pounds of muscle, you're definitely doing something wrong.
EDIT: I don't have anything to back up my claim, I remember reading a few articles saying the same about gaining about 25 pounds of muscle in a year, and to go even further, that would be about .5 pounds of muscle a week, 1 pound in 2 weeks.
EDIT2: Those were estimates. Obviously, this sort of thing depends on your body type/genetics.

mix your protein with milk and itll taste better. you dont need to drink it directly after your workout. thats a myth.
do babylover's starting strength routine
only take 2-3g of creatine a day. the bottle tells you to take 6 pills a day because they want you to waste it and go buy more and spend your money. take 2 pills a day and do not do a "loading phase"
you could definitely gain a few pounds before valentines day as long as you are consistent with your training and eat enoughMaster total

I knew eventually somebody would target my lack of avi lol guess I better get round to posting one up.
Listen man, I'm not looking to argue with you, and I did edit my post before you posted so I wasn't saying you claimed to gain 30lbs of muscle. You did make some noticeable changes and I'm not bashing you or anything. But the changes you made are definitely not anywhere near 30 lbs, so the minority of that is muscle. That's just following the basic principle of not being able to gain more than 2lbs per month. If you calculate it that puts you in having gained potentially 8-10lbs of muscle maximum (because you said since April). Even that is pretty damn good.Φ United Misc Frat Φ

15lbs of BW damn easy, of course how much of that would be pure muscle is a different issue
But then, a decent increase in muscle mass + a bit of fat on top of that still looks incrementally muscular. You don't need creatine IMO* Skinny to non skinny transformation crew * - I am gonna effin nail this

Just going to tell you what you wanna hear since no one above did.
Step 1: You need to get into a calorie surplus of 300-500 calories above maintaince. (Starting Right Now) (Weightx(17or18)=maintaince)
Step 2: Toss out your current workout program and Start Bench pressing, Deadlift, Military Press, Squat. (Any program with those main lifts are good).
Step 3: While bulking use that whey protein you bought and be sure to get in 1g per pound of body weight.
Step 4: Take 3-5g of creatine a day (Creatine will only increase strength over a long time)
Step 5: Watch the Hogetwins on youtube > Youtube.com/TwinmuscleWorkout
See 5 easy steps! Now you want get 25lb of muscle but guess what? Your gonna gain muscle if you follow the above ^. Now if you wanna look ripped around valentines day that's a different topic I would've said bulk till Christmas and Start cutting.http://www.youtube.com/user/JackCannonTBE Subscribe!!
